I'm surprised that no musician has pointed out rhe fact that both Jubu Smith and Spanky Alford are playing guitar in the background.
Aum Mu Ra I seen them. Raphael was doing his own thing by then, they were pretty much broke up, besides doing their obligations to support the album for the record company. They were on tour with Janet but didn't make through the entirety. Jubu was them on the Revival album too.
If ya watch the documentary jubu was writing most of hooks and made the bed of the music for the songs and wasn’t getting paid until I big time producer explained to him he should be getting paid because he was writing and producing
