You may use iron filings to detect these magnetic lines of force the same way you would detect the lines of force in a bar magnet. However in a bar magnet you will have two lines of force, one on the right side and on the left. If monopoles can move a compass, they may be able to move electrons in a wire. A steel pipe is like a extended metal ring, the spinning magnets in Ed's generator could get the monopoles circulating in the pipe that's next to it. Then a coil of wire could be lowered into the pipe, generating electricity. What do you think???

The main thing missing here is accepting that magnetic and electric fields are not the same. Magnetic fields are a reaction to electrical fields. However, magnetic fields also enable us to 'open' the electrical circuit through what is called magnetic coupling. In order to do this energy must be stored. The coils and the metal bar and 'horseshoe' store the energy allowing for the electrical connection to be opened. More advanced methods call it resonance.
Wouldn't it cause an opposite pole to be set up in the keeper bar at each end causing maybe something like a mobius strip effect of the energy. If they were not opposite poles at each end then it wouldn't stick. Just a thought

Actually, a U magnet with a metal bare on the top is pretty basic. That is all the perpetual motion holder is. You can coil the U magnet, charge it with the bar on top. The magnet will maintain that charge and have a stronger hold on the bar than it did before. It does not in any way violate thermodynamics.

Couple of mistakes. The 'perpetual' motion holder uses 2 coils....not one. Two coils that are the same btw. It is not monopoles. It is stored energy. You remove the electrical connection but the magnetic fields are still stored. Two ways to break the holder. Short the electrical connection to discharge the stored energy or remove the top bar and sever the magnetic connection. Either way this effect is caused by stored energy. Isn't this thing rather the result of residual magnetism in the core? As when inducing strong EMF-s the polarities of all the particles in the ferromagnetic metal start to align in a certain direction. After removing the EMF a lot of the particles keep the aligned state and very slowly start to flip back to their original directions. And the physics known today states that you can practically flip the polarity of particles in all things, including coral rocks. All you need is a very massive EMF.

Isn't this thing rather the result of residual magnetism in the core? As when inducing strong EMF-s the polarities of all the particles in the ferromagnetic metal start to align in a certain direction. After removing the EMF a lot of the particles keep the aligned state and very slowly start to flip back to their original directions. And the physics known today states that you can practically flip the polarity of particles in all things, including coral rocks. All you need is a very massive EMF.

The magnetic poles of the earth and moon are on the same side, this pushes the moon away from the earth, however the moon and earth's gravity are pulling it together until the two forces are equal. If you change the magnetic poles of the moon so it will attract the earth's magnetic field. The two forces magnetism and gravity will now bring the moon and earth together.

@nornd fair enough; your page; your video; your opinion. Opinions vary though and many feel he did it with magnetics. Nobody, to my knowledge has any proof whatsoever to back "how he did it" - it's simply unknown at this point.

I wrapped a coil around a U shaped bar, put 1 amp through it for about 1 minute. The bar that i attached to the U bar stuck until i removed it. Yet it has been 10 minutes and if i reattach it, it will stick again and hold it's own weight... Residual magnetism.
