Hey Isaac, not sure if anybody will actually read this but you still good given the circumstances. That was a tough video to make I'm sure. Please don't be mad at yourself we all love you and value you being part of the team. Also here are some survival tips if you ever want to try again, the sleeping bag number is pretty much only rated for the extreme survivability not the comfort, so a -20 degree bag will keep you alive at the temp but you will still feel very cold. To combat this look at the comfort number on the bag instead if it has one. Also you can bring liners and extra blankets on top to keep you even more warm. The sleeping pad also helps insulate your body from the cold ground. Don't light the stove in the tent as it will fill up with gas like yours did and could catch on fire. Base layers are important like you mentioned and cotton is not a good base layer, stick to syntheric fibers like nylon or merino wool to keep you warm and shed body sweat. Anyways Good luck Issac don't give up :)
We really do love you a lot, Issac! Don’t get down on yourself, the guys love you too. Andrew had to change locals. He knew enough if he didn’t get off that lake, his chances of survival were slim. If you’d have stayed in that tent with all the butane, you could have seriously poisoned yourself! You done good, brother! Another day, another time!
If they're going to be doing more stuff like this they should all get some advice and possibly go on a survival course for a weekend. They could even make a decent video out of it. They've all been chronically under prepared just in terms of the equipment they took with them. Apart from Justin who was basically doing it on their own land with electric anyway so. I mean these "no idea what we're doing survival" videos are OK but no more interesting than doing videos where they know at least enough to keep warm.
Issac dont feel discouraged, we value your safety and health above content. You are a wonderful addition to the team and it wouldnt be the same without you anymore. You cant blame yourself for not being fully prepared when we are growing up in a world that doesnt prepare us for those situations. Long story short, dont feel discouraged, and we are happy just to see you guys give things a try even if it isnt "seen through". We love you!
I think this was a good introduction to solo survival challenges for him, it helps to have some experience or someone to guide you on what to take and do but yes his safety is all that's important and if he feels comfortable maybe he can try again someday

Issac don't call your self loser or anything bad. You are a great person and make JSTU so much fun to watch. You bring happiness to this channel and app
Isaac don't be so hard on yourself, you made a great call of ending the video early. Your safety is priority, and some of the early signs of hypothermia are stopping shivering and confusion. Making the mistake of increasing the valve instead of decreasing it could have happened to anyone in your situation. We love you man, and we are glad that you are a part of the team.

Don’t be so hard on yourself Isaac. You did a great job with what you had, and I still enjoyed the video. You learned a lot and you will do much better next time. Keep up the good work buddy!
Nice job Isaac. I don't think anyone blames you for quitting the challenge. It was honestly the smartest thing to do, given the circumstances. Although it might have been a "failed" attempt, it was still very entertaining and you tried your best which is all that really matters! (Plus there's no need to compromise your safety for a video). Would like to see another one of these in the future in the summer time so you don't have to deal with it being so cold!

Issac, as a veteran who has had to survive in many different climates, the very first thing where you went wrong was in attitude. The video started with you saying you were ready to throw in the towel before you even got on site, you were defeated right at that moment. You ensured your defeat as the video went on by listing what you forgot. This plays a huge role in your subconscious. You didn't believe you were going to succeed, so you didn't. I love you on the team, you normally have great ideas, albeit not very well executed ones all the time. But others, man.... take the hide in plain sight challenge down here in downtown Colorado Springs. Brother you were absolutely brilliant with your construction worker idea! It worked because you believed it would work. Your health goals are working because you believe they will work. At the 6-minute mark, your attitude was perfect, you said this was the coolest thing you've ever done, and you were having fun in conditions that suck. That's the attitude you should always strive to have in survival situations. The power of positive thinking is remarkable, because instead of thinking about what you do wrong, you are thinking about ways to make the situation better and are more inclined to act on those thoughts. For food, y'all really need to get some MRE's for these overnight challenges. They have a flameless heating packet that only requires a little bit of water, and it's enough to heat up your food. For all 3 of you lads, I would suggest investing in a smaller tent, pup tents, or as we called them in the Seabees, the Seebee Bake Oven. They are small, light, and made to be erected by one person. They are so small that they can be easily fitted with insulating layers and will trap heat quicker and easier than those bigger tents you use. Now having said all that, Issac, mate, wonderful attempt, you are to be commended for trying that which most people wouldn't even consider doing. I want to see you succeed in a challenge like this, offline I'd be honored to help you prepare for the next outing, I live here in the Springs so the logistics will be easy to navigate. Wasn’t sure what I was expecting when they teased this video….but after the ending….it’s exactly what I should’ve expected lmao. Great job, love the content and it’s refreshing to see a ‘failed’ attempt. Shows the reality of those trips
We love you Isaac ❤️ you've been an amazing addition to the jstu team! Don't be discouraged you did your best...your really brave for going out there alone & for stepping out of your comfort zone!😊
its better safe than sorry. please stay safe while doing these challenges and don't feel discouraged. we all understand that it would be too dangerous under those circumstances
This place is no joke!! I grew up in the area (about an hour) from the Sand Dunes. We went there very often. During the winter it gets COLD and the sand stays wet and frozen. But during the summer it is so incredibly fun hiking up the dunes, sledding down, playing in the water ect. Maybe you guys can do a summer overnight survival challenge? It's ok to not continue this challenge, its not safe at all to do this during the winter especially by yourself. P.s I'm making this comment before I've watched the entire thing. If Justin and Andrew aren't happy you didn't continue overnight then thats pretty crappy of them. Its not safe for you to be out there in negative degree weather and by yourself. I watch this channel mostly because of you Isaac. You're so real in everything you do and so funny. I feel like the guys bully you a lot and you just take it. I know it's all mostly in fun but I also know from experience it gets to you after a while. I hope Justin and Andrew know how lucky they are to have you as part of the team! WE LOVE YOU ISAAC!❤

Love the wallmart bag too, though it's asda over here as you know. I dont think Justin or Andrew will be disappointed in you. How can they be? Looking forward to the next videos. Well done. My son says he hopes you saw a doctor with breathing in all that gas. It could have made you really sick. He is 10 and is worried bless him
Sorry he's scared. Please work with him and help him feel more secure on things he is frighten of. I take kids out teach them how to fish, tie on lures, Clean and cook fish. There's people who do this in most areas. You're a good parent you raised your child to have empathy
All that you have to think about is that your safe and not putting yourself in danger the best thought you ever had is to stop and think of yourself. It was an adventure and there were some flaws but atleast your ok and not dieng of hyperthermia or intoxicated gas. Dont be mad at yourself ❤ with lots of love Ashley. Hope your doing better ✨

I’m gonna be honest, mad respect to these guys. They got unlucky and ended up doing solo survival challenges during one of the coldest weeks of the year. I would have struggled with this too.
Man you know we love you, so do Justin and Andrew! You made the right call, it wasn’t all you things happen all the time in life just seen ridiculous at the worst possible times. This entertaining, just like everyone knew it would be. That’s why we all wanted to see it, not because we expected you to fail. We know you’re always fun to have on videos!
Isaac, don't beat yourself up so hard. These are called learning experiences. You probably won't make these same mistakes again after learning how valuable these little details can be. Go out there and do another challenge and prove me wrong. You will make other mistakes, but I don't call them mistake, just learning experiences. You got this brother! The most important thing is to no give up. Don't compromise, improvise. Failure is not an option.
U are an AMAZING asset to the JSTU family, Issac! We value ur guys' content and the adventures that u go on; the risks u take just to give us fun and entertaining videos. Thank u, from the bottom of our hearts, here in Iowa. ❤❤
Don’t feel bad dude!! Especially with you being from the city your whole life, you did damn good! Man if you had gotten a couple little tips and a better tent, you’d have killed this challenge!
Best episode , the real gritty reality , not faked , not joked , feel proud of yourself for making a video realistic , painful, funny but interesting 👏 👏
My heart is breaking watching the end of this video. Issac you tried so hard but your safety should never be at risk for content. Just know that your attitude and your personality is why I subscribed to JSTU in the first place and so many of us love you and believe in you!!
Good try, but NEVER have any kind of open flame stove on inside a tent ever. Justin made the same mistake. That large flame you had could catch your tent on fire, and obviously your tent was filled with the gas that you leaked out. Also if you have it on inside the tent, the burnt gases are filling your tent and are very bad for you, even if it isn't noticable. I've used those a lot, and they should always be used outside. But hey, the video was pretty funny and im glad you took a shot at it. I wish the sand sledding could've gone better 😅
Isaac, you did what you NEEDED to do! I'm so proud of you for trying! The viewers don't understand the situations you come across unless they were there too. Everyone's experience WILL be different. No matter what you, Justin, & Andrew post, we will love it either way! We love the JSTU CREW!! ❤ We just want you all to be safe! Much love, my friend! ❤❤❤
Great work Issac! And you are "NEVER" a Loser or an Idiot, thats just badmouthing from everyone else which is not nice. I BELIEVE in you, and don't let everyone and everything else bring you down. I think for the next video, you should do a DIY GHOSTBUSTERS experiment budget challenge to promote the new movie GHOSTBUSTERS Frozen Empire which is coming out in theaters this spring. What you do in this idea is you each get separate budgets (hope you get the big baller) and use that budget to build your own Ghostbusters Proton Pack, uniform, ghost trap and Ecto-1. Then do Ghostbuster challenges. What do you think of that idea for a video? Please leave a comment and like for this video and comment. And leave your opinion for this idea to promote GHOSTBUSTERS Frozen Empire coming out in theaters this spring. Please, Thank you and love you Isaac. P.S. your Ecto-1 has to be a "REAL" car.

Your gas stove accident could very well have been God stepping in and forcing you to end a potentially lethal situation. We’ll never know, and I’m very glad for that. Take care of yourself and believe in you and what you bring. There’s amazing value in that.
Thank you for your service. ❤ My dad was a SeaBee during Vietnam.
nah man we appreciate you@@isaacquazzo
I truly appreciate that, but instead of thanking me, be thankful to the brothers and sisters who never came home. They are the true heroes. As for your dad, if he is still with us, please thank him for paving the way for future generations of Bees for me.@@Lemonpetals34
I’ve been subbed since the very beginning, quality content here 🙌
its better safe than sorry. please stay safe while doing these challenges and don't feel discouraged. we all understand that it would be too dangerous under those circumstances
Issac you make JStu! The chemistry between Andrew and Justin is amazing to see. We love you in FL!!!
The JStu team was made long before he arrived.
WE LOVE YOU ISAAC!❤
appreciate the kind words 🙏🏻
@@isaacquazzo Next time cheat and use a 4 season tent and get a closed cell foam sleeping pad to put under your inflatable sleeping pad, R values stack and the more insulation underneath you will keep you warmer.
You did great Isaac! Don’t beat yourself up about it😊
Definitely want to try out your equipment first. I want to see Isaac do an overnight with a camping expert. Film the learning process❤️
Isaac my son and I were shouting get out lsaac get out. Dont be discouraged you tried, you have achieved so much. We think you're amazing.
Isaac is so funny and one of my favorite people on jstu.
Isaac your the man! It's cool to see solo overnight challenges, awesome to see how you adapted, keep up the good work all of you guys ❤
Issac your not a joke your awesome just believe in yourself you got this love you buddy
Don't be too hard on yourself Isaac! We all make mistakes, but way to go for braving the weather and persevering through the challenges! I love your positivity! Yall are awesome!!
Isaac is absolutely my favorite person in jstu. I love all yall but Issac is my dog 😂
I thank God He kept you safe While you were out there for that time ! You are already strong and courageous in the Lord and that is where your strength comes from ! I know it is easier for me to say, but don't be too hard on yourself! I am sure your family and the team were not disappointed you made the decision to call it and choose your safety! We are with you!!!
Issac is the best thing that happend to Jstu over the many years i have subbed
You're not a failure you tried and I think it was a learning experience for what to do next time. You got this Isaac, keep your head up.
Issac. I am glad that you are safe. don’t worry your safety is more important than a video I still enjoyed this video. You are a great addition to the team. Don’t feel bad I know all the jstu fans are glad you are safe.❤
I love the jstu team but Isaac is my favorite
Tune in next week to watch Isaac huff gas on a tropical island solo!
You the man Isaac. You always try your hardest every challenge you do. Everybody makes mistakes you will be much stronger and do things better next time round. Much love from England
I’m gonna be honest, mad respect to these guys. They got unlucky and ended up doing solo survival challenges during one of the coldest weeks of the year. I would have struggled with this too.
I cried 😢 I felt so bad for you
But don’t worry it did make for great content
God is proud of you no one else matters
Blessings
Man you know we love you, so do Justin and Andrew! You made the right call, it wasn’t all you things happen all the time in life just seen ridiculous at the worst possible times. This entertaining, just like everyone knew it would be. That’s why we all wanted to see it, not because we expected you to fail. We know you’re always fun to have on videos!
Anyone Else See Isaacs Purple Lip?? And is concerned??
Big hugs for Issac! Please try again another day. You can do this!🩵
Isaac, don't beat yourself up so hard.
That looked really hard Issac, especially with everything that happened. You'll overcome it next time Issac. Thanks for all the great content!
Big tips for the stove is when you first turn on the gas, don’t start it off on the highest setting
thought bro was about light the whole tent on fire XD
We need more of these I love all the perspectives from everyone’s solo adventure.. issacs was my favorite though 😭
You did the right thing, safety first!!!
I love how most of the comments are encouraging Isaac. You did great, Isaac. Y'all did great for surviving solo in different circumstances 🤍
Aw, poor Isaac! You tried so hard and still made a wonderful video for us! Thank you
We all love you Issac❤
Don’t feel bad dude!! Especially with you being from the city your whole life, you did damn good! Man if you had gotten a couple little tips and a better tent, you’d have killed this challenge!
21:23 justin andrew you better not give issac a hard time or we gonna come for you bro ❤ we gotta protect our issac. he’s a teddy bear. 😢❤
Nice change of pace doing the solo stuff but I like the group as a whole
I watched the other solo challenges and thought this was the best one because it felt the most real like this is what most people encounter.
Best episode , the real gritty reality , not faked , not joked , feel proud of yourself for making a video realistic , painful, funny but interesting 👏 👏
It was a sad and incompetent video.its weak and embarrassing.
Who else wants to see a duo survival challenge 👇
Me just screaming throw the gas out the tent.....my god I’m just glad he’s still alive bless u Issac
Caleb would of turned the car around before the video started. Well done Issac 👍🇦🇺
Finally a new video love you Isaac
My heart is breaking watching the end of this video. Issac you tried so hard but your safety should never be at risk for content. Just know that your attitude and your personality is why I subscribed to JSTU in the first place and so many of us love you and believe in you!!
Isaac is the best..
maybe not a cooold overnight... a warmer overnight.... you got this
please 😂
This video made me feel less lonely. Thank you Isaac. 🙏🏼
Issac we get throwing challenges through life, but there’s always other challenges to grow with it, and to learn from it
Good job Isaac! You guys definitely need to do this again in the summer time to it’s more enjoyable for ya lol
Time for Isaac to do a tropical survival challenge with the boys!
Under a minute gang let’s go jstu 🎉 you are the best
The part of the thing spraying the gas cracked me up!
Under a minute gang
I think you had the hardest challenge out of the 3 of you. You still did great content, don't beat yourself up Issac. Love from Liverpool UK
Liverpool FC 🙌🏻🙌🏻
You did great for your first time alone, you did amazing your are amazing and things happen so don't let it get you down #respect
my boy Isaac did the best of the 3 when it comes to setting up good shots!
We need redemption! Isaac you can do it! We believe in you!
Yes a issac survival video been waiting for this hope we get more
A+ great effort and attempt. Making content is great but safety is more important. You didn't fail, so stay strong and positive.
I love Issac 💖💖
Good try, but NEVER have any kind of open flame stove on inside a tent ever. Justin made the same mistake. That large flame you had could catch your tent on fire, and obviously your tent was filled with the gas that you leaked out. Also if you have it on inside the tent, the burnt gases are filling your tent and are very bad for you, even if it isn't noticable. I've used those a lot, and they should always be used outside. But hey, the video was pretty funny and im glad you took a shot at it. I wish the sand sledding could've gone better 😅
its ok my man. Lets make it work next time. Waiting for your perfect solo camping.
i feel bad for isaac bc isaac is trying his best for making us laugh and seeing him not happy it hurts me bc i understand what he's feel
Isaac, you arent a disaster man!
LETS GO ISSAC!
FINALLY WE GOT THE ISAAC SOLO! YES
WWWW
Isaac, you are not a loozer. You are a survival warrior
Each of these Solo Survival challege videos shows how real each of these JSTU boys are. We support each of you, and love you.
Not gonna lie, at 16:36, I started vibing because "Something Different" by CLNGR hits different sometimes. The editors did a perfect job by putting that song behind Isaac's "real talk" moment with the camera.
We love you isaac. Your support in the comments is overflowing to the point where I, another random fan, don't even need to say anything because everyone else has that spiel covered. Just know we see you struggle, and sometimes you are funny, and sometimes you show that you are human too. You aren't a joke, you are a person with feelings and a heart. Who cares if the video was not as good as it could have been. You're safety and health should be the priority in survival videos. 💕
"Maybe I'll do better next time..." Why did you sound like you were gonna cry- 🥺❤❤❤
@Jstustudios. Issac if you see this I've done this a bunch of times in Boy Scouts hiking and camping in the winter. I woke up and it was -14 below and snowing inside my tent. You got this bro. You gotta apply yourself and keep pushing yourself to your most limits you gotta pace yourself my friend. I'm from Georgia and it's totally different from down south where it's 105° and humid with rattlesnakes and alligators to living in Connecticut. Where it can be warm and sunny and a thunderstorm comes out of nowhere to sometimes tornadoes. You gotta go to Vermont and experience it out there. It is amazing. Keep at it brother. Love you brother. Keep up the good work and same for Justin and Andrew love yall would love to meet y'all. Yall make me laugh everyday when yall post new stuff. I always want it. Keep up the good work. Peace be with you.
Keep your head up Issac. Honestly it could happen to anyone. I’ve seen it happen to others and seen those little stove caught fire. We are just glad you are ok. You have been such a great addition to the JSTU team!
Isaac we still love ya. Anyone not experienced in camping would make mistakes. You have made Jstu videos more funny.
Please don't be mad at him Justin and Andrew!! He's a city boy thrown into a solo winter adventure, and he's still learning! Issac, ur health and well-being is what's most important. Stay safe!
I think out of all 3 of them Isaac actually had a spot to plug that merch 😂😂 he a real one lol
Give your self some grace my brother. Everything in life is a crazy experience. God teaches us. Be kind to yourself man god loves you and so do we we are proud of you for your efforts
