Hey Nathan! Thank you so much for this very detailed and helpful video. Thank you for this very detailed and helpful video. Is it possible to buy a SIM card (15 days) for the two countries Thailand and Cambodia in Bangkok?
You can buy Sim2Fly of AIS couter at the airport and tell the counter staff that you will be using it in Thailand and Cambodia. The staff will carry it out for you. By the way, you can check on this link: www.ais.th/en/consumers/package/international/roaming/sim2fly
If I are a tourist, how can I purchase the Truemove 5g for 699THB package? Does it sell at the airport? I want this package since I need to make a lot of phone calls and also will travel to northern Thailand. While AIS has better network coverage, but their free phone calls are only available within their network. thx.
You can go to Dtac service centers at a shopping mall and check the package at this link. www.dtac.co.th/en/dtac-promotion/packages/recommended.html?bnid=20150708174 Then, you can buy a cash card at a convenience store to top up. Check in this link: www.dtac.co.th/en/prepaid/services/refill-channel.html
I think 4G is enough. Hotels, cafes, and shopping malls also have Wi-Fi available. AIS network is more stable than other carriers. And I rarely have problems when going to islands or up mountains. I use AIS too. 😄 The rest can be calculated according to the number of days and the data you want to use.
