Now the issue on *Unwinding concept* : The Call or Put options (as you mentioned in video Option writers will move from ITM to OTM if they are expecting some positive or bullish market trend or any other reasons might behind) For writers the contract is an "obligation", in between (i.e., before expiry of date of contract) how they can unwind and move ahead, either they can freshly write or sell options ahead of spot rate without interrupting old ones since it's an obligation (the option buyer can decide whether to unwind or to keep untill expiry date) I hope I've conveyed my doubt clearly, if anybody having the same doubt hit a like button to reach out fast.

I too have similar question. But as per Zerodha Varsity, the options in India are of type European which means we need to wait until the expiry to exercise the options. I assume we can square off before expiry so that the contract will be transferred to other one.
@@brahmanandareddy6030 ok but the right to square off option is in the hands of option buyer not in the hands of option writer know!
@@santoshkumargurugubelliGSK I dont think only buyer can square off the trade. When option seller square off the trade, the risk is transferred to the other seller.
