Everyone involved in that baseball situation.. god, I cant imagine how that felt. The guy who tossed the ball, realizing he tossed it too short and causing the man to lean over too much, the guy next to him desperately trying to grab him, the man realizing he leaned too far, and his son watching his father go over the edge. The survivor's guilt would be unreal.

The internet isn't a mistake. It's a tool that has given people the ability to communicate and learn and etc etc. With all good things, though, come the bad, and people will do bad things if given the possibility.

Talking about weird stuff on TV and the section of "killers", reminded me, there was a local TV in Brazil that they were able to get all the scoop before even the police, turns out the TV owner was contacting and paying criminals to, well, do crime, so they have news to publish.

That last case just makes me annoyed with how the news people could just be up in their faces and potentially provoking the violent response, then running and simply stating he's insane. The last thing anyone would want is a camera in their face with questions that are too personal that'll be broadcasted to tv.

Regarding the last case, I have personal close experiences that are very similar, you'd be amazed at how often it happens in latinamerica that the ex wife uses the kids to mentally punish the ex husband, keeping them away and then neglecting the child, it would turn any dad that loves their kids mad, the guy deserves to be in jail for what he did, but he was also dealt a terrible hand.

as someone who studied journalism that last story haunts me. yes, its clear that the father was quote-unquote 'crazy', but the fact that the reporter was straight up egging him and his wife on just to see what happened, only to run away the second that the husband came back with a gun to shoot his wife, when it turned out she was in danger, made me feel sick to my stomach. she had no sympathy towards anyone other then herself.
one thing that we were told we're gonna have to do at one point or another is a 'doorknock', where we knock on the door of family members of recently deceased people to ask them questions. my tutor said that you have to be sensitive to the person you're interviewing, and try not to ask any challenging questions - such as "how did it feel to see your daughter in the coffin?", which is a question that you shouldn't have to ask at all!

I'm sorry but the twitch chatter acting like the perverted justice people were baiting pedos into being pedos is wild 😂
Like do they not understand what the alternative would be for those willing to be a pedo in the first place. If not the fake child a very real child would take their place.

The issues is that it was later found out the the showrunners would specifically incite them. It wasn't the supposed predator finding them and then starting everything, but the actor initiating the whole thing and pushing them until they started to act in inappropriate ways or agreed to meet. It would be like a person gave you drugs and inciting you for hours, days or even weeks to consume them, then you give in, he reveals he's a cop and immediately arrests you. That is unethical and a court would immediately dismiss a case like that because the other person, in this case the cop, incited the whole thing, the cop would actually be the one getting in trouble in this example, for inciting someone to break the law. That's what the showrunners did and why when the incident in the video happened, every charge was dropped.

@@taigaaisaka6305 It's different than the drug comparison you used. There's a difference between that, and people knowing that they're speaking with someone who they believe is a minor, and instead of shutting it down and dropping contact they knowingly participate in it and escalate it.

It is cases like that "mom" that makes me infuriatingly mad, to the point i'd wish that i could slow their perception of time down to the point that 1 second feels like a million years and then inflict "mild" pain (mild for us, but insane levels for the person), and for the guy at 40:11 well, keep this in mind, only those you trust can backstab you, you wouldnt expose a weakness to an enemy right?
