Basically, she still no longer naturally has her abilities & now relies on her symbiote (which now takes the appearance of her normal costume, with only rare instances of reverting to her “Gwenom” form when under emotional stress) in order to continue being a Spider Hero.
That's not the version of her that appears in media outside of comics. I'm guessing they didn't forget, its just despite being the origin for most Marvel characters the comcis are way less popular and profitable than everything else. Way more people know her from the Spiderverse movie then ever read her comic. These days the comics are just a sideline for Marvel, I'm sure if she gets a movie they will reset her powers in her comics to match it.

Wow I think this video single handily made me a Gwen Stacy/Spider Gwen fan. I always thought it was cool that she got her own abilities and I've always loved her costume, but didn't know that much else except for the miles connection which was also cool. But She-Hulk, Spider Woman AND Silk? That's FUN.
