Julia Stiles and John Lithgow turned in the two best guest performances of the show Dexter.
I was literally just about to comment the exact same thing. Lumen. What a ****ing amazing performance.
Yup. Never expected that from Lord Farquad/the dude from Third Rock from the Sun and the girl from Save the Last Dance. :P lol
Actually, they had a number of older (and incredible) actors come onto that show and deliver amazing performances, now that I think about it. Johnny Lee Miller (Zero Cool in Hackers, Sick Boy from Trainspotting) knocked it out of the park and so did Colin Hanks. But definitely, Julia Stiles and John Lithgow's were my favorites, and the ones I was most amazed by.
