I'm not a musician so I don't know how to describe it but the original had a more echoey "tapping" sound than the synth during this part. The synth is still great here, I'm just trying to figure out how you'd create the original which gets drowned out by the bad vocals in the official release.

Funny how Battle tendency has more of an 80's aesthetic feel than Stardust Crusaders, which is actually set in the 80's.
