Japan's railway technology is the best in the world
Japan's Shinkansen has not had any major accidents such as derailments in the 60 years since its opening.
Although it is highly rated in Europe, we are currently developing it in India and other countries.
In terms of railway technology, trains used on Japan's Yamanote Line and other trains are sold in Southeast Asia for about 10% of the cost of new cars.However, in Indonesia, as China promotes high-speed railways, the sale and purchase of used trains is also prohibited.
I think there are Japanese-made vehicles running in the Philippines as well.
Japan and the Philippines are countries that are important to each other.
I hope that the friendship between Japan and the Philippines will continue.

私は日立で鉄道関連の仕事をしていましたが鉄道車両だけが素晴らしいのではなく日本の鉄道運行システムが素晴らしいのです。
鉄道システムは日立だけの技術だけでなく鉄道システムに関わる他企業も高い技術があってこそです。
またドイツも素晴らしい鉄道製造企業があります。
ただ鉄道事業は車社会、航空機時代になり鉄道利用は少なくなってます。
例えばカナダやアメリカでは鉄道は貨物が主流です。
貨物車両の大型でハイパワーの機関車に関しては日立より海外企業の方が優秀です。

HITACHI は、鉄道に対して何よりも安全性や耐久性＆信頼性を重視して事業展開を行っています。
イギリスの地で、そういう HITACHI の姿勢が評価されて来ているのは、日本人として嬉しい限りです。
日本の車両はデザインが余り好きになれない・・・という声も耳にしますが、飽きの来ないデザインや、
トンネル通過の際の騒音の低減や、抵抗の低減を狙って、あの様なデザインになっているのです。
またイギリスで使う車両は、極力イギリス国内で作ってイギリス国内の雇用を確保する政策も進めています。
納入した車両の整備もイギリス国内で行っています。列車の車体だけを安く売ればそれで良いとは考えていない印です。

英国の建築限界と車両限界は、如何為ってるのだろうか❓ロンドンから仏国のブールサンモウリス(借って住んで居た事が有る山奥町[邑])まで、直通運転をしてるとか気に為ります⁉
TGVの客車は、確かに狭いし、天井も床も低いが、動力車は、結構大きいし背も高いから車両限界や建築限界が気に為る。それに英国の車両限界も小さいが、良く分らない。
何方かご存知の方が、居られましたらお教え下さい。ドーバー海峡トンネルの建築限界は、欧州の建築限界と同じに見えるのですが❓❓❓
