I believe it is still safe. Especially, if you start looking at other islands, it is not even close to being the worst. Have not heard of any incidents but will have to check this out!
I had booked a tour with them for an upcoming cruise. Unfortunately, our entire cruise itinerary was changed because of the situation in Labadee, Haiti. Our new Nassau port date is now April 1, which is Easter Monday and a Holiday in the Bahamas. Pirate Jeep Tours is not operating that day because of the Holiday. I was unable to change my reservation because of this, but the owner called me, was super nice, and refunded me the price of the tour. Their customer service is definitely good! I will definitely try and use them on a future cruise. I am a little sad I was not able to experience the island with them this time.
Completely agree on their customer service! That is such a nice touch that the owner reached out and made it right. Knowing it was out of your control. Hope one day you're able to make it back and do a tour!
