Back in 1987, me and my best friend found a band called Red Hot Cilliil Peppers in Los Angeles. We would follow them from San Diego up to the Bay Area. We would see them in clubs that had 150 people, colleges, small theaters, etc. We saw them 31 times over an eight year period. I try to describe the ENERGY of the band back then, the crowd and the sets. THIS video reminds me of it ALL. I wish you could have been there. More importantly, I wish I could have been HERE!! What an amazing set and amazing crowd. I’m 56 now and I’m a HUGE Turnstile fan. I watch every live video I can find. My brothers and I saw Turnstile for the first time this year at No Values in Pomona. What an awesome show. The crowd was feeling it. Unlike the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Turnstile is just as awesome today.
