I am amazed with the fact that I understood everything they were discussing. Two years ago I didn't even know how to use a EQ. Crazy how far we have come:)
+Saskiequelle hy, i m a lil bit new to eq, and i v seen your comment here :d and you made me curious..how did you get to understand eq so good ? lot of documentation from internet videos ? experimenting eq using it in your music ? is there anything that you could recommend me ? thanks :) i know what eq is and what is does..and i v experim, but i m still new and foolish
+snoopy nasosu www.groove3.com and www.recordingrevolution.com. And a lot of patience and discipline. If you love it you will never give up.
+Saskiequelle Thanks! When i acces recordingrevolution, the page opens but besides an X, nothing here..anyway thanks for the tips!!! :)
+Saskiequelle oww, and do you have something put out ( your music ) on youtube/ soundcl, etc?
Holy, it's no wonder Young Guru is one of the best engineers, this guy has buckets and buckets of knowledge about his craft.
Dave is seriously the most humble and helpful guy. Every time I watch these I always take away something really interesting and useful and he's never stuck up about it.
Father in heaven, i pray that in 4 years year time, when i come back to watch this interview,i actually understand what they're talking about.
Edit: Oh my God I forgot about this comment! How time flies! The simple answer is yes, I just rewatched this video and definitely understood most of what they were talking about. It's crazy cos I remember being mad confused the 1st time I watched this. I'm still learning new things everyday though. Thanks for the reminders!

Out of all interview I believes this is this best so far
It's not often that I end your shows with the thought "I need to watch this again!", but this one is so filled with information and philosophies that I definitely have to watch it again 1 or 2 times to soak it all in.. Awesome episode, can't wait for the next part. Thanks for the show!
One of best episodes I've seen yet. Guru really breaking down stuff, not just speaking in code.

WOW!!!!THANK YOU!!!AMAZING
Great Post!
Yo.. I just realized Herb has been selling the fact that he understands all the terms that guests use on here.. There's no way he can comprehend on that music jargon as a manager
You can tell this guy is on his game. Great episode guys.
Man I wish I could mix... Listening to this helps a ton...
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!
Great interview with great talent! I love the Mudhoney and Nirvana reference.
Best show on TH-cam.
Great info in your video's. And respect for Young Guru sharing his knowledge. At the end at part 1 hé nails exactly my problem. I was always adding instead of removing in the low end to get more bass. But it always resulted in muddy blurry bass that didn't work and ruins your mix. Creating space makes sense mixwise because that's why it is called mixing. When a good mix goes to mastering the mastering engineer only needs to make small adjustments to make it really stand out.
Great interview
Great Show
Awesome!!
Uncanny resemblance Herb has with the bulldog in tom and jerry.. right ?
Cool guy though :)
Great!!
Spectacular!
