I think the football was a lot better under Klopp’s regime. But some of the staff members have left. They looked so disjointed, no patterns of play. It’s a very worrying situation. I really hope Slot puts his imprint on things as Klopp did during his tenure
After watching both the U18 and U21 in a fair few games, you have to ask what the hell is going on in our Academy ?? We are being regularly beaten by much smaller clubs. Our general play across both age groups is not good at all - too little shape, structure and footballing common sense (footballing intelligence, positional play and concentration are all as rare as hen's teeth). Both age groups seem to rely on moments of individual quality rescuing us. The defending in particular, again in both groups, is often woeful. The only player I would exempt from this among our defenders is the keeper Misciur - who looks a great prospect. I think the whole Academy set-up reeks of jobs for the boys and mundane coaching leading to the acceptance of mediocrity, maybe even establishing it as the norm. Root and branch reform is needed or the breakthroughs we saw over the past couple of years will not be happening again any time soon.

It’s because all of the good players from the Liverpool academy teams (except ngumoah) have been sent on loan to get game time at higher levels (kaide Gordon, Lewis Komas ect) so the academy teams are left with the worser players

You are lost mate
In Fact Liverpool Youth Teams Defending Is So Poor,, Concerning Unnecessary And Preventable Goals..... They Should Do Something About It Seriously

@Izaak- yeah, that's true! I think that's a good thing for their development.
Do Liverpool have a RB? Literally missing for the match! Terrible defensively.
Good sign for north ends future
Rien n'est aussi beau que de tout donner. Même si tu vois ta chute inéluctable, perdre en héros serait peut-être la meilleure option
