- The Purpose of Braille Skateboarding is to grow the number of people who skateboard by teaching, motivating, and inspiring. We do this by making skateboard tutorial videos covering every how to skateboard video under the sun moon and stars. By learning ourselves and showing that no matter how old or young you can learn to skate. Part of this is also providing a suggested path to take in learning to skate. Then we inspire NEW people to learn to skate by making videos outside the very small world of skateboarding. We turn an ipad into a skateboard, skate on a big screen TV, and even a door. We focus not only on the creativity here but building the board and then all the way through to seeing what tricks can be done on it. Skaters have always been a creative bunch of people they take the normal ideas of society and change it to create their own world. Most people see a set of stairs we see a kick flip going down them. Our goal here is to take people that may never have thought of skateboarding before and get them on a board.

Coming back to this video years later to say that the Kingfoam Elites have changed my life. I’m not a skater, but I frequently walk around at gaming conventions 3-5 days straight. In the past, my feet would always be the first thing to give. Now I can go for 5 days and my feet are like “lol w/e lets do it again”. I have way more energy as a result too. I always keep a few pairs of brand new kingfoam elites around, even if they are becoming harder to get.

I've been using Footprint insoles for about 4 months, and as an older skateboarder, I would highly suggest them for knee support, and ankle impact resistance.

The soles seem to be, "absorbing", or, "dispersing", the momentum and reducing the force of the impulses. There is essentially two impulses when dropping the bowling ball on the sole. The first happens when the ball hits the sole and the second when it bounces back up, causing a total of two forces. Not an expert on this subject but the sole looks to be significantly reducing the force of the second one almost completely and presumably the first one as well. With more give and increasing the time it takes to transfer the force, you typically reduce the overall force transferred because it lost in the movement. It's like the difference between landing on a wooden basketball court and a concrete floor; the wood has more give and so it takes more time to transfer the force than a solid concrete floor so it is not as strong of an impulse, causing less damage and pain typically. Great video guys, keep it up.
You actually need heat energy to activate/ break in the insoles. If you do so the ball will not bounce at all.

So they did a study ages ago that showed when people landed on a cushioned matt, they landed with a harder force than without. It seems counterintuitive, but the results showed it was because our feet signal that the ground is unstable, so our legs absorb less shock so that we stick harder to stabilize in the soft ground. When the ground seems stable, we naturally attempt to absorb more impact with our legs. So shoes with cushions or extra insoles actually lead to more injuries.
If we didn't have legs, this stuff would make sense. As it stands, it's gimmicky bullshit.

+ODIUSS GD Yeah you do I mean it isn't as necessary as flying down street but landing primo happens alot when your flipping into a nose manny and out and we all know that flipping out of a manny is slower so you have a higher rate of landing primo and if you're a true skater you have landed primo before and it didn't feel good. I hope I enlightened you. :) ;)
+Bmxyy I don't know why but I never hurt my feet when landing primo on flat. The fall hurts but not the primo. Every once and a while I will land primo down a stair set or a gap or something and that hurts but it's rare

The thing is I tried remind and fp, remind is much more comfortable and helped my foot regain its strength and fp didn't help at all, it was way too flat and a video said to heat them up for a few secs for them to mold on my feet but it just got thinner. I rely do not enjoy cutting unsold so that they fit in my shoes so remind wins for me
Wow! I need to get a pair! My hips always hurt after I practice and now it's so bad it still hurts after 5 days of not practicing at all. I was thinking about stoping skateboarding but now hope rises again! I hope they do absorb the impact! Can't wait to try a pair on!

you need to stretch your hips in three directions across your body, towards the outside and directly towards you when you should wrap both arms around your chin and pull it towards your body. your hips should be the last thing ever feeling impact

I've been rocking these insoles for over a year and I love them. I have them in every pair of shoes I own. Unfortunately FP has never given me any free stuff with my orders... Not even a sticker. I gotta start a TH-cam skate channel to get some free shit.

bubble wrap makers came out with a new design, they ship full rolls uninflated and the people who buy it need a $5000 machine to fill the bubbles up and seal it, instead of them being individual cells they are linked down a chain.. saves cost on shipping

Fp insoles rule. I wish they would last longer. Ive put the same pair in 3 shoes now. but sometime during the second pair the heel and balls of me feet have nothing left. I put them in the third pair because they now give me soo much board feel because they have molded to my feet, but they have no padding left in the places I need it most. guess I need another set.
I have that same problem too. They're very very good but the lasting time isn't that great. But I guess when you buy them, you can get the heel saviors to put on the bottoms when they wear down so they're like new again on the heels. They also make them for the balls of your feet.

The Dr. Scholl's ones in this video are the same ones I have in my work shoes, and they are great for that, standing on concrete all day and I don't really come home with foot or leg fatigue. I had some remind "medic" insoles in a pair of shoes quite a while back and they suck hard. Lot of arch support, but very stiff and no more comfortable than a standard insole.

So a couple years ago,I had broken my foot skating,since then I had been on the endless search for awesome insoles that do not hurt my feet. Last month I saw this video and determined on my next check I would pick some up,I just recently got a set of the Gamechangers (like 3 days ago) and I have been wearing them every day,now I don't feel any pain where my foot had broken and they are super comfy,thanks guys for showing these off,they were exactly what my bum foot needed!

Update: The FP insoles made my feet hurt. Not sure why, but they were in a lot of pain until I put in the original insoles.
