Totally needed this since there's a school project I'm working on. I love how you just came up with the synopsis and title in literally seconds at the first one by the way.
I am working on a short flick about secrets and witchcraft and i was really finding it hard to make my title sequence, but watching this helped a great deal. Thank you
Always great to see you work. Nice one! The one major thing I like about your tutorials is going into psychology, explain why pictures work the way they do. And then again you keep focused on the main thing while poiting out things left and right of working with film. Really would like to do a project with you. Very interesting on this theme is Gaspar Noe's IRREVERSIBLE. Pretty tough movie but high end when it comes to work with the medium. Impressive play with expectations and viewpoints.
Another fantastic tutorial! Most instructive videos will show you how to make one specific intro. This actually shows the concepts behind them as well, which I think is far more useful. Thanks!
I love the title sequence of game of thrones. Fantasy novels often begin with a map and geography is destiny (not that GRRM understands how vertical orientation of continents increases linguistic diversity over thousands of years) so the map at the beginning of game of Thrones primes the viewer to understand the geography of Westeros...
Thank you. I'm thinking about two possible stories I want to turn into a multi episode web series. And I have an idea of a good title card, I just don't know how to make one and what makes a title card
wow! super informative. i'm planning to sign up with Video block when i'm done with my carefully - slowly - patiently Asian Horror short film :) thanks
Such a good video and everything you speak is perfect. currently studying media and film production and its spot on this channel to help me grow. Better than these fake film makers who don't have in depth knowledge like you! Also love your second name ;)
Would this software enable me to create an opening sequence similar to Knots Landing's (video clips with colored borders going across a black background horizontally)?
If you don't have a credit card, sign up for a bluebird card and put $20. in the card just so it passes when it is scanned by the system. Its easy to get, easy to add money to, and there are no fees. It will be your credit card.
great video. If you are making a short film then a title sequence is non-existent. The goal should be to capture the attention of the viewer and get them curious and invested in the story in the first 60 seconds. So the title should appear in screen within the first 15 seconds or so. Just normal 2D text. In the credits you can credit the filmmakers and cast/crew etc. Just my opinion, please comment.

Great video! Could you do a separate video going through how you did that title sequence? It's very good, great job!
