Disco era was the best 💃 It brought ppl together on foot or roller skates 🛼 A way too meet mingle and experience the simpler fun side of life enjoyable for everyone ! The dancing competitions were so awesome as well. My all time favorite era. And music ! 👍❤️💃
I agree! I used to go to the disco dances at my high school. Lots of fun times. I went roller skating but I always fell on my butt. Never was good at skating. My brothers and aunts were better skaters than I was. Lol😀😂😅

Dad (a Studio54 and Limelight alum) of course got up and joined them and we danced until the end. I loved Donna Summer so much when I was a kid, that I dressed up as her for Halloween once. I wore a cream colored Greek style gown that I had worn for a school play. It worked well,since Donna wore many beautiful gowns for her shows. I wanted to pair the gown with knee length silver boots that had a two inch wedge heel like Donna wore sometimes,but I couldn't find any,so I guess I wore sandals or something. I could have easily gotten some black boots with the same style and spray painted them silver,but I didn't know back then. Anyway,it was fun dressing up as the Queen of Disco for a day!

I personally prefer the earlier version better simply because that edit highlights what I love about Donna, her voice...and the strings and melody. That being said, this version is the epitome of disco! I don't know much about engineering music, but this was an excellent lesson for me on how complex editing is. Two very different versions of the same song. You impressed me on a new level!!
