Wheels are not “specially designed” they’re taken straight off the Corvette. You can even see the Corvette branding on the centre caps.

The Magnum wheels for the ute came from the Corvette. The wheels may have been supplied in custom width 7 thru 7.5 to 8.o inches The Corvette wheels are way way wider 8.5 inches minimum .
Oh yea the Magnum was a way to sell remaining WB body shells sedan/ute . The new
German designed Commodore was all new next model .
Magnum name was meant for HQ-HJ Hx Hz Wb body types only .
There were alot of influences from racing at the time .
