Both men were different in personalities and direction. Whatever dev has done he did it for the good of Ireland but that good was lost along the way.

We tried to represent the cause in the House of Parliament but anytime an Irish representative spoke he was jeered and silenced, so what were the like of Collins and dev to do? Just let the feet of unionists and foreign rule walk all over us? Collins aim was to get the gun out of Irish politics. You need to read your history before commenting. These brave men were hero’s and died for what they believed was right and along with a high majority of the nation post 1916 executions. Freedom fighters, have some respect
