Thank you so much for putting this together! I have no idea how you found these, but for almost 2 decades, I've thought about this original score, but never expected I would find it presented in this format. This means more to me than you'll ever know. Thank you, thank you. For the record, my favorite track is 14:41 - 10. Garage Beat.
Thank you for uploading these songs from Nancy Wilson (Director's now ex wife) that composed original song/beat for Vanilla Sky and other movies from Cameron Crowe.
Great soundtrack to a great movie. Sometimes I wonder how the soundtrack would have sounded if Trent Reznor & Atticus Ross had done the score. If there was ever a movie built for them, it was this one.
@@ClubRacers It's not available, unfortunately. The CD was only made to be given to Academy voters for the movie's Oscars campaign. Maybe it will be released someday as part of an extended boxset or something, just like the Almost Famous and Say Anything scores.
No, they aren't on the DVD. The score is actually not yet comercially available, it was only made available to Academy members as part of the film's Oscars campaign.
can someone with WAY too much time to spare break down each scene each song is in? I’m trying to make a chronological playlist of both the soundtrack *AND* score

@@Don-Jack thank you so much! by the way, i feel like “to the roof” was probably created for the ending but went unused. on his website, crowe mentions that nancy spent months developing soundscapes for the film, many of which went unused and unfortunately have yet to be released. almost famous recently got a full soundtrack release digitally, so i really hope vanilla sky does soon
