I work at a pallet factory, I load 4x10s onto a line to be cut into boards, for 10 hours a day. I was trying to find a video of that job, to show someone how physical it can be, and this is as close as it gets that I can find, so thanks for posting! Some jobs are so underrated.
I had one temporary job where I had to unload a truck of toilets (and I had one helper for most of the shift). I noticed there is a lot of lifting with the pallets though. My back would definitely be sore. lol
I work at chep pallets. We have the same exact conveyor line set up. Im a builder as well. Them chep pallets weigh 75lbs -100lbs if wet. Much respect. Its definitely not for the weak. Worked here for 4yrs now
Parabéns pelo belo trabalho. Trabalho com pallet e preciso procurar mais idéias, posta mais videos para nós ver o belo trabalho realizado amigo.... Recently lost my job in warehousing of 14 years. Found a job in pallet repair. Base pay of $11 an hour with a bonus of $.35 per pallet. Not a bad gig, and I like the workout. No conveyors. Straight unstacking and stacking back up. I'm in serious pain after two weeks. When can I expect that to end? Especially in my wrists and elbows.
@@mclovin9283 I am now driving a forklift for this company. The pain has gone, but I have numb and tingly fingers that won't go away. Can't speak on how the pain would be if I was still in repair. I've been on a lift for five months.
@@mclovin9283 I'm 43. If you are younger, you should be fine. If I had a pallet repair job in my 29's, I'd have been fine. I'm a little old to jump into a game like this. Best of luck. Keep grinding.

That's true. They see it easy but isn't when you are the one working on it.
