As a Canadian woman I find that American website concept sick-making and it’s another way Americans are lowering the bar of society in general. (They tend to do that). Irish men are truly beautiful plus they’ve got wit, camaraderie and intelligence for days. Add in the bonus of the sweet Irish mammy and it’s a full win. The only level up could be with the fashion (sorry boys) but you can take that with a pinch of salt because I personally tend to date French or European men and have never been one for a sports team shirt on a man, unless it’s while watching a game. So chins up, chests out and keep that wit flowing along- rest assured you men are up there with the best of them. x

Please talk more on fashion. Especially for young lads. Growing up from teens into their 20s and going from secondary school to college. When do you change from the runners to the leather shoes. And when you change from the jumpers to the blazers.
There's actually a term for a "handsome man" in Ireland: "Tourist" (just kidding my friends!). My wife considers me handsome (she's from China); but I think that's love that done that.
American here. I would choose an Irish man over an English man or an American man. Looks aside, they've got a killer sense of humor and they seem, generally, more masculine. I trust none of the data from dating sites, I think its such a small representative sample.

Unfortunately as an Irish man, Irish and Scottish are perceived as such due to stereotyping of heavy drinking, poor diet, sense of style (rural upbringing) etc plus that men who embrace exercise, grooming and fashion are deemed to have "notions" about themselves.
Hit the gym, take some interest in grooming, fashion and nutrition.

I think Irish men are between the most beautiful! And I lived 17 years in the Netherlands so not being missing nice men there. But they have something special I think!

The rating for beautiful people is done on a random basis - selected blind that means no one know the nationality of the guys they are rating. Irish men have a long way to go in terms of looking after themselves and are completely clueless in terms of taking photos. Yes the personalities are good and sense of humor but looks are also important. The heavy drinking scene does not help anyway.
Hmm I am gay and have been to Ireland 4 times, I think both the men and women are great looking. I expected more redheaded guys but that chestnut hair and long nose is very handsome. English guys are hard on the eyes and ears.

Who are they kidding? When I was in Eire, I saw plenty of gorgeous Irishmen and women. The skin tone, hair and mostly blue and green eyes and saw a few blonds too. The country is absolutely beautiful and especially The West. I found them generally reserved and polite and who doesn't love an Irish accent from various counties? The world is also discovering the uniqueness of Irish names for children too. I love the Irish given what they've endured.
I've tried out beautiful people like 12 times different photos and as did my friends and out of the 7 of us I'm the only one that was accepted 😂 they like me they really like me 😂😂and I'm irish only don't look it😂

The applicants must have been pretty shocking as most people on that site are not even hot and they're really weird, I applied to join just as an experiment and the people are terrible inside and out lol. I agree, Ireland has a lot fewer hot people than most countries and there's no point in lying to yourself and denying it, we're a small island nation with the smallest level of immigration in Europe, people are going to be genetically similar and therefore less good looking, that's just the way it is, I don't know why Irish people are so defensive about this. Just stop marrying people from the same town you grew up in init. 😛 Jk, but seriously why are people so defensive about this, have they never been abroad or have they a massive opinion of how they look? The presenter is not selling himself that well wearing a GAA jersey on a recorded show and just being extremely basic in general, sorry but it's true, none of youz are saying anything original or groundbreaking or even funny for that matter. I would say us Irish women don't do ourselves any favours either wearing way too much makeup and fake tan, it looks awful, just be yourself, as you are ladies, you look way better more natural. And write a bloody bio on these apps fcuk sake and have your first photo just one of you on your own, otherwise I'm thinking it's a group date or an orgy. I can admit us Irish are not the best looking, just be honest, there's more to life than looks, we're good craic and friendly yo no need to pretend you're better looking than you are and your looks don't quantify your self worth.

@@eoinoconnor5783 oh the accent. The Dublin accent is just the worst in the country. I hear it what I hear is either "give me your money" or "can I borrow a Euro for the bus?". The Irish insurance industry is largely based in Dublin, but slowly moving out to Wexford and Waterford. This is brilliant, because you couldn't give your card details to a jackeen.

My dad was Indian and my mum was Ethiopan.
Paki is a British term made up by British and Irish Catholics in the 1950's.
The British and Irish Catholics used it as a way to take the piss out of the strange accent and strange facial features of the newly arrived Pakistanis and Indians into Britain and LATER Ireland.
In a similiar fashion, the British and American Protestants made up the word Nigger in the 1920's in Britiain and America - whilst British and Irish catholics made up the word Paki in the 1950's in Britain and LATER Ireland.
NIGGER came from the word NEGRO in Britain and America during the 1800's and was made up by British and American Protestants as a way of degrading the facial features and strange accent of Blacks.
PAKI came from the word PAKISTANI in the 1950's in Britain and LATER Ireland and was made up by the British and Irish Catholics as a way of degrading the facial features and strange accent of south Asians.
But The Catholics and the Protestants were NOT cruel to people purely on the basis of skin complexion.
Here is the proof...........
Irish Catholics loved Blacks - but hated Indians.
On the other hand, American and British Protestants hated Blacks - but loved Indians.
This proves that neither the Irish Catholics OR the British /American Protestants were ever racist to people on the basis of skin colour.
These certain prejudices simply arose on the basis of certain cultural clashes in the communities combined with differences in the phenotypical facial structures of the various individuals in question which made people feel uneasy.
It was NOT (and never) based on skin complexion as NONE of the White Celtic peoples in Britain were ever racist to people purely on the basis of the colour of their skin.
