What a match. Milano could have easily won in 4sets but piacenza's will to fight till the end is what made the difference.

This match was won/lost by a few crucial moments, but overall in the last 2 matches Pia's MBs have totally outclassed Milano's MBs. 48 pts combined for Simon and Caneschi (with much better efficiency in atk) vs 27 pts for Loser and Vitelli
But most importantly, I hope Yuki is alright. If he keeps playing like this Milano still has a chance

I don't understand how the superlega quaterfinal stage is played. How many will they play against each other. Can someone please explain, I can't find a proper explanation anywhere.

The first team that wins 3 matches get the access to semifinals

it's a 5-match quarterfinal, like a 5-set game. So far, Piacenza won 2 games to 1 by Milano, so Milano has to win the next game to bring this quarterfinal to the tiebreaker, if not, Piacenza will win by 3-1.

Yep. They'll battle in the 4th match soon. If Piacenza wins it, they'll go to the semis. But if theyll lose to Milano, both teams will play their 5th match to secure one ticket to the semis.
