    I'm especially grateful for seeing that budget breakdown at the end. Fascinating, as expected from Austin! In the future, I'd love to see a talk on the same topic, but applied to an indie on a true 'micro-budget'.

      The smaller you get, the more electronic it tends to get of course, but I've done micro (like Pocketwatch Games' MONACO) where I sampled a solo piano and did the entire score that way. Simple and cheap :)

      @@awintory I loved Monaco! I might try Banner Saga after this talk, but Monaco's music was very impressive and moody.
