Dad, you brought it home perfectly pointing out the pain of hitting trees and stuff. Then his spill? Yah. "Dad checking " the boy. He REALLY wanted to blame Luca. Normal reaction. But the facts and code HAVE to be learned. Luca mentioning that their coach teaches the same thing... that was when Augusta accepted that this was just not Dad lecturing him. Very relieved he is ok. Looked like a great fun weekend!! 🥰
Wish ALL kids around the world had Dads like you. Enjoy this time, kids grow really fast, keep giving them you time and attention, they will continue the mission

To this day I have such an appreciation for my dad and the things he did with us as a whole family, but especially the father - daughter bonding weekend trips either hiking, skiing or kayaking in Australia. I am working hard to do the same with my kids (teenagers) now living in Europe. Keep up the great work, these are memories your kids will never forget (believe me, I know).
I always give props to the boy's riding, and they are crushing it but I would like to say this time, you sir are absolutely winning at the dad thing!!! Most important lessons learned about the code!!! So much respect dad keep it up!
Man, you guys really ripped it up! Looks like loads of fun, except for August’s wipe out of course. Glad he was ok but definitely a good lesson to learn. Downhill skier ALWAYS has the right of way!
I appreciate that you include un-fun moments along with the fun moments in your videos. Many other videographers would have shut off the camera and quietly edited the unhappy parts out, not wanting to spoil the upbeat mood. That crash was a powerful lesson in personal responsibility, not just to protect oneself, but to protect others. It could have been so much worse if August had instead caused Luca to crash and get hurt, maybe even injured. A great lesson for your boys AND for your audience too.
You handled the situation perfectly. I’m glad neither of the boys were hurt badly. They learned two very important lessons in this video. Teaching is your standard after all! Falling is sometimes inevitable, but, hey, “You’ll eventually stop!” Hahaha!
I chose to live near the beach and adapt that lifestyle before I used to be a ski bum but I hurt my back hellie skiing at Whistler but I tell you these videos make me want to get back to skiing again. Pain or no pain
I have to remind the kids that I teach, the seven responsibility codes & calling out "Passing on your Right or Left" People below us have the right of way !
Holy cats!! Great boys trip! I’m a big believer in “divide and conquer” with the kids. This makes for lasting memories and deepens our relationships with shared experience. Austin has great form and is a great role model for Luca. Luca is like a mountain goat on those climbs!! Made my day watching. ❤️❤️
Indeed, still lots of memories of fishing trips 45+ years ago with my father. And boat building. And building the garage and other DIY. Etc. As if it was yesterday.
Great video. I skied Kicking Horse this winter and the video doesn't fully capture how steep some of those lines are (climbing up Stairway to Heaven stairs and skiing Whitewall in Feuz Bowl). Kids are great skiers, keep up the great content!

We've had a real problem with collisions this year at Heavenly You're 100% correct about who's at fault and the best way to avoid others. Yelling from behind is like blowing your horn on the freeway. What a great ski trip! The hikes are amazing.
kicking horse mountain? havent you been there before with august? amazed there are still that much snow. i guess your home area is further down and more south? and please, your wife will have her hands full with Adia so doubt to much relaxing haha. and very nice to see how you handled that accident. took care of him, but also informed him, talked him through it. i guess the big breath execise you have done with Adia wont work here:-)
