Idc I loved this prequel lol! I was shook at the violence, but I mean, it’s “Esther”. Julia Stiles deserves her flowers. She picks a random movie like The Omen and then goes back to her regular life for another decade lol.

The first orphan was good but this one if you watched the first one first filled in the holes of that one. Also made you actually understand why she went nuts in that one too.

There was a whole backstory on Leena I read a few years ago when Lena was an actual little girl where her biological father sexually abused her since infancy and they had a weird father/daughter incestuous relationship. Her biological father eventually found a new girlfriend and told Leena she’d never be a real woman and she killed her father. So some time later, Esther started working as what appeared to be a child prostitute and got taken advantage by pedophiles. She felt the only way she could get a dad was to get close to them by pretending to be their child, hint the unhealthy relationships when trying to seduce her foster fathers.
This movie proves women will claim any child as their own thinking it’ll fill in an empty space 😭😭😭 but baybeeee… the fake Esther was in for a treat thinking she was going to run that house… I enjoyed this prequel

Just finished this whole series not 10 minutes ago. I enjoyed it. Hopefully there's a third even after the ending of the second one.
