It is very interesting about the astrological correspondence to the court cards. Nobody seems to be able to agree even within the golden dawn tradition. Ive seen numerous resources in books, videos and information online in terms of the zodiac within the tarot. And depending on where you look will depend on the answer you get but actually what makes the most sense to me is assigning the king of wands as Leo. Its the same with the tree of life and the court cards. Ive seen the kings placed at chokmah (wisdom) and that makes the nost sense to me....but ive also seen the kings placed at the entire right side (or the pillar of fire) on the tree. So as to rule chokmah, chesed, and netzach. I think its best to just go with whatever makes the most sense to each individual. But then again some people dont use the astrological correspondence or the tree of life at all. 🤷 But anyway....thank you for another great video Kippi!! This was brilliant as always. When researching I've found every single Zodiac sign assigned to every single card 🤷 I came to the Tarot from studying Ritual Magick so I'm going with the GD's attempt at decoding the Cipher Manuscripts but it's still a minefield! Hopefully one day it will all connect & make sense 😅 It wouldn't surprise me if my doppelgänger came from the future to harass me! Maybe I could fight him off with the Fool's shoehorns 🤣☆

You see, after I made a dna test and uploaded the results, the system matched me with so many (distant) cousins all around the world, including in the UK and... Today, I have something in my mind and really need help. In this video, you said about hate. I think I can ask you for help. I'm a college student, but don't have many life experiences and intelligence as you...and I have nobody now. Loool. Well, I disliked someone before and she dislikes me, too. Soon, I'm going out of town to be an intern, so I want to practice forgiveness. I just want to learn about spirituality before I see my palliative care patients. I wish I can advise my patients to forgive, therefore, I started it with myself first. So, today I brought food and snacks to everyone, included her. I talked to her friendly, but she only said "Alright. Alright. Alright" and walked away. On the way back, I smiled at her, but she gave me a cold smile with 'bombastic side-eye', while walking slowly, turned left, and then turned right slowly to look at me. 😅 I couldn't stop staring at her weird action. And she didn't stop doing that for longer than 10 seconds, so I left because I didn't understand her body language. 😅😅😅 My problem is I can't stop thinking about that moment and reaction. I believe I've done my best, but what's that feedback? I don't want an enemy. All I want are friends and teachers. Could you please help advise me? Wow! It sounds like you're going through it my friend. The important thing to remember here is that you've done the right thing & that's all that matters. It's always better to get validation from yourself instead of seeking it from others, as individuals we are the only frame of reference that we have. We've got no idea what's happening in the minds of others (& she sounds quite conflicted to me) so just keep living by your own values and everything will fall into place. The most appropriate Tarot card for this situation is the Hanged Man, the archetype of acceptance. See the look of bliss on his face as he now realises that life is transitory & will always do its own thing, regardless of how we try to manipulate it. If you really want to heal this relationship then the best thing would be to just be direct and explain exactly how you're feeling, but let go of the outcome. Forgiveness is something we do for our own sake, so if you've done everything you can then find peace in that. Hope you're ok 🙏☆

While Crowley did change which court card is the dad, his reasons had nothing to do with what you said. Your most glaring mistake is to claim that the knight's attributions are now equivalent to the king. The minor arcana, and the corresponding dates, that the knight rules, is exactly the same in the Thoth and the RWS decks. While the King shares the same minor arcana, and corresponding dates, as the Prince from the Thoth deck. Furthermore, you showed a picture of the knight of wands from the thoth deck, and said that Crowley said such and such about the king of Wands. I find that doubtful since there is no king in crowleys deck. Amongst other, more qabbalistic reasons, Waite's knight has grown up and is now the father of the prince. I liked that your video is kinda quirky and entertaining. But if you read Crowley's book about the thoth deck, the book of thoth, u may want to modify this.
Each of the quotes from Crowley that I've used in these videos has come directly from The Book of Thoth, as I've attributed on screen in every instance. The explanation for why Crowley made the change in the court cards came from the book Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot by Lon Milo DuQuette, a writer who has studied Crowley extensively & published several books on the subject. Your suggestion that the King from the RWS is equivalent to the Prince in the Thoth deck is demonstrably wrong, in Crowley's own words "The Knight of Wands represents the fiery part of Fire; he rules from the 21st degree of Scorpio to the 20th degree of Sagittarius." This puts the Thoth Knight in the same Zodiac position as the RWS King & puts them both at the same position in the Tarot. The Knights in the RWS deck are equivalent to the Princes in the Thoth deck, in the case of the Wands they both cover the Zodiac positions of 21 degrees Cancer to 20 degrees Leo &, as such, occupy the same position in the Tarot. This doesn't necessarily mean that they're interpretted the same way but we can see that they're in the same positions simply by looking at the order of the cards. All of this information has come from The Book of Thoth, Understanding Aleister Crowley's Thoth Tarot & Tarot Correspondeces by T. Susan Chang. If you have resources that contradict this information then I would wish you all the best in working with them.
