This the life my husband and I lived when he was alive. We loved camping 🏕️ in winter and all kinds of weather in the middle of no where land. Fishing and swimming. In all kinds of weather. Beautiful life. So happy you’re teaching the kids all kinds of wonderful life lessons. We never made it to Alaska but wish we had. My great regret!!!! Wish we had. Love watching you all. God bless and stay safe..tipi looks like fun..
Thank you so much! 😊 We're glad you're enjoying the videos and following along from Sydney! 💙🇦🇺🦘 It means a lot to have support from around the world. Cheers to you, and we'll keep the adventures coming! 👨👩👧👦🌍✈️
That tent is the coolest. You guys are amazing to me. You both agree with everything & ask each other about things which is wonderful. Your kids will have an amazing stories to tell when they are adults.
Nostalgia! My husband, our kids (ages 7-8), and I spent four months in Alaska in winter 2022, exploring every weekend. Those adventures really ignited our love for the outdoors. The kids will never forget those experiences! It's so important to teach adaptability, and you two are doing a fantastic job. Love this channel-you're truly inspiring! Greetings from Georgia!
Another great Bags Packed Family adventure! Loved the hot tipi, the sound of the rain on it is soooo soothing to me. I wish the weather would hurry up and change for the cooler in Oklahoma, we're still hitting almost °90! Drunk some hot cocoa for me y'all! Lol
Wow... I like this channel 10x more with this type of content. Your channel will be big. Hope you get endorsement and sponsors more in the future. Please make short videos too, it's good to boost views and engagement. Sometimes easily to get viral.
I can uear your friend yelling at the phone. No!! I't's this, that. Great content you provide us. I can't wait to share Mamma Rav with other Alaska homesteaders. God bless you 🙏🏻 stay safe. Nurse Judi in Scottsdale 🙏🏻
That was very nice! What a beautiful camp site! The stuff you brought worked out perfectly, great job! Be safe and show us more! We love "going" on these trips with you beautiful family! Forrest talking to the birds, epic! ❤
Hi guys, your weather reminds me of here. Raining and cold. So nice to see parents that are teaching their kids life skills especially living in Alaska 🇮🇪🏕️
The tipi set up is pretty cool especially the fireplace warms up the area for everyone compared to the truck (even though that’s a cool setup too)! And haha the way Forest is bringing up this is Minecraft especially the birch wood ❤❤! Love you guys and excited to watch more adventures with you guys!
Every time you guys post, I get so excited! You guys should make Fry Bread Tacos, sometime! That’s an Alaskan family favorite here. Also Franks Hot Sauce lovers on our tacos. Great set up! You could also use dryer lint for a quick fire starter too. Thank you, for sharing, it looked super fun!
Omg rain in a ⛺. My therapy. Would love love love to go even if it's on my own. The sound of the rain give me the chills 😂 Thanks for the therapy sound and the video. ❤ Informative Wholesome Entertaining Love ur family🎉
What an awesome time camping and I'm really enjoying this series of videos. I love you guys videos. You make a great team 😊 Thanks for letting me tag along on your adventures ❤ love you guys
I think it would be good to put a tarp down first and then set the teepee up on the tarp. I wonder if you could cut tennis balls and put them on the end of poles to raise the tent wall using the tennis ball ends so you could get more space.
Your kids are going to have the same childhood as me. One of my favorite memories is ice fishing. We would also build a fire on the lake (very thick ice so no worries about melting through it) and cook hot dogs and marshmallows while fishing. All while it was -40 degrees out. Good times. Thanks for the video❤❤❤
Forest at 3 am ; mommy i'm scared (with eyes closed). & mom said ; don't worry my son, we all are with you. Forest, you're really the best actor in bag packed family. And this is 🐣 for you. 😋😋😋
I'm loving all the outdoor adventure videos so far. Great job setting up the Tipi & The wood stove. Forest kept making me laugh about his minecraft references. My friend said "This family is missing a dog" while you guys were on the nature walk and I agree. The rain in the morning made me wish I was there. Such a soothing sound while sleeping. Awesome content as always. Keep it going fam! See y'all on the next one.
Cool teepee tent! So, my guess is that you’ll take it home and set it up in the back yard to air out and dry before packing it away again. We always did that back home when I was a kid. Looks like so much fun! ❤
I think the best configuration to accommodate everyone with ample space inside the tent would be to use only one bunk bed and have the rest sleep on the ground.
Happy sons day granite, forest and cedar I hope you stay healthy and take care always listen always to your mom and dad I hope you stay good and polite kids 🫶thanks for another tent video coming from you big hats to Jonathan and Kelly for setting up the tent and bunksbed
Camping in the woods makes me overthinking about wild bear or wolf 😂. Nice adventure btw! I saw on another youtuber video, they using kinda like a family tend, it's more long and spacious tho.
Vanakam Mr Jonathan & Family. Am Vinod from Chennai. Found your channel just two days back only. Watched many of your videos now, still lots to go. You lived in Chennai for 2 years wow. I am sure Idli and Sambar was the best. Nandri.
I bought 6 man tent when my 2 of my grandsons I did scouts with them as parents would not. n I had gotten bunks itbwas awesome I have air mattress n kids on the bunks
What a super fun camping adventure. Really love the weather there, watching from sunny Singapore 😎which is summer 365 days a year 😂Can't wait for your winter adventure! Oh, and I learned a new breakfast recipe from John! Bacon, eggs and cheese, Yum! 👌Stay warm and God bless! ❤💙
That stove is ingenious. So compact when packed. I think what Kelly was referring to was pupusas in El Salvador. Thick and often filled with beans, cheese, loroco or meat. Enjoyed your adventure.
For anybody in Texas El Rancho Supermercardo has the absolute best tortillas you can buy, made at the store. They are delicious, light and hold their form. For anybody outside the state I think you can order them online at the store's website. Trust me they are life-changing if you make a lot of tacos and burritos.
Fun outing. I would add a carbon monoxide detector when using a hot tent. Also a fire extinguisher placed inside the tent as well. With the size of your family a wall tent might work. If you are car camping the weight isn’t as much of an issue.
Here in the UK, we have a tree called the Mountain Ash which is also called the Rowan. It has bright red clusters of berries and is foraged for use in jams, vinegars, wines, ketchup and all sorts of stuff. You need to pick them after a frost (or take them home and stick them in the freezer) or the berries are really astringent and bitter. Apparently, all the parts of the tree are edible, including the sap, but I have only ever used the berries. I wonder if the European Mountain Ash has any similar ancestry to the North American tree of the same name.
Thanks so much! It’s our friend’s tipi, but we plan to borrow it several times this upcoming winter season. We’re excited to use it in the snow and in some below-zero temperatures. We’re definitely interested in learning more about your affiliate program.
I think I would be nervous to set up camp by "sea of cranberries" ;) (bears) But, I would definitely go home with a bunch, if it is allowed. Looks like a fun adventure!
I Love El Salvadorean food, I totally get what you're saying... The "tortillas'" are Like Unstuffed Pupusa's, Thick, but Super Yummy. Also Really Love the Salvadorian Tamales...

Best family tent we had was a 2 room tent. Plenty of room for queen air mattress on each side. Great way to get ready for winter. 💜🔥

The bunk beds would definitely fit better in a six-man tent, looks like it was a lot of fun...and work love the bunk beds
Yeah i thougth the same, it too small for that tp.
What an awesome time camping and I'm really enjoying this series of videos. I love you guys videos. You make a great team 😊 Thanks for letting me tag along on your adventures ❤ love you guys

This was a great video. I’m ready for the next adventure of seeing such a beautiful state of Alaska.
Awesome Camping Adventure, I Myself Loves To Go Camping. Thanks For Letting Me Be There.
Loving the daily uploads, also amazing vid!
I think it would be good to put a tarp down first and then set the teepee up on the tarp. I wonder if you could cut tennis balls and put them on the end of poles to raise the tent wall using the tennis ball ends so you could get more space.
That's a pretty good tip! Thanks.

Amazing video looks nice and cozy in that tent!
Cool teepee tent! So, my guess is that you’ll take it home and set it up in the back yard to air out and dry before packing it away again. We always did that back home when I was a kid. Looks like so much fun! ❤
I'm thinking growing up with two parents that are teachers would have been pretty cool!
Great video guys!
Thanks, Nick! Enjoy fall break.
The rains makes it memorable

That is an awesome teepee tent 🎉🎉🎉
That was a nice tent but it would be better if it was a little bigger. Nice of your friend to let you use it.
You will master this type of camping vlog once you get used to it. Outdoor boys definitely could give sone ideas.
Thanks so much! I definitely see potential with camping vlogs. The Outdoor Boys are great!
Hello from Ireland 🇮🇪
I think the best configuration to accommodate everyone with ample space inside the tent would be to use only one bunk bed and have the rest sleep on the ground.
That's the plan for the next one. :-)
Enjoying your adventures 😊 Minus the rain 😊
Love watching ❤❤
That definitely looked like fun. Fun but chilly from the rain. Until you got the indoor fire going. ❤❤
I'm exhausted! Try to bottle some of that energy for your senior years! Have fun! I'm having fun watching!

Yes! Pupusas!🫓
You would like Indian Fry Bread, it's thicker. Great stuff.
We should totally cook Indian Fry Bread on our next adventure!

You guys are real troopers camping in the rain great video. 🙂🇨🇦⛺👍👍👍👍
Love the video!
Thanks so much! It’s our friend’s tipi, but we plan to borrow it several times this upcoming winter season. We’re excited to use it in the snow and in some below-zero temperatures. We’re definitely interested in learning more about your affiliate program.
I maybe wrong but l think you have to put fan on top of the woodstove ❤❤
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
I think I would be nervous to set up camp by "sea of cranberries" ;) (bears) But, I would definitely go home with a bunch, if it is allowed. Looks like a fun adventure!
You and me both! 🐻 😆
Hello from Indiana
I was just going to ask where does hot come in but niw I heard stove but where chimney go or does smoke go straight out?
I Love El Salvadorean food, I totally get what you're saying...
The "tortillas'" are Like Unstuffed Pupusa's, Thick, but Super Yummy. Also Really Love the Salvadorian Tamales...
Have you looked at a YURT style tent? It would give you more space because the walls go straight down.
no bottom or tarp on the ground??
❤
Get a canvas tent with a stove. Would give you more room and a floor.
there is a plant app you can get that tells you what any plant is by taking a picture. so that way you know what is eatable or not .
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
It's been fun but I learned not to go camping in the rain 🌧️ I got the Flu was siçk for two weeks be careful
Scrape EVERYTHING off your cutting board with the back of your knife. It will save the sharpness of the knife 🔪
Thanks for the tip!
when u get home hang in garage to dry before giving back
