Ethnic Dance Philippines | Cultural Dance | Tribu K' Mindanawan

Hi everyone welcome back to our channel. For today's video we will show you an Ethnic Dance in the Philippines performed by Tribu K' Mindanawan Artist. This video was taken last March 6, 2020 before lockdown during our trip to one of the touristic spot in Davao City. This is such a wonderful performance also one of many ethnic dances in Philippines. We have thought that it would be so nice to share this marvelous cultural dance and you will know how rich Philippines when it comes to culture.
1. Kapa Malong-Malong - is a Muslim dance. Also called Sambi sa Malong, this Maranao dance is performed with women wearing malong and shawl, mantle or head piece, whereas men wear sash or waist band, shorts or bahag and head gear or turban traditionally worn in the fields.
2. Madal Soyo- This is a T'boli courtship dance a boy pursues a girl who taunts him with in unfurled kayab or turban, which she hold by the ends and sways side-to-side, following a musical beat.
