The rates are terrible. I am buying a new home. I locked a 5.625 with a 2pt buydown from the builder. I’m worried I won’t be able to refinance out of that rate as most are predicting rates will stay high for a while 😢. Enjoyed

This is a legitimate concern most homebuyers have on their mind. That is a great rate for a brand new home. Regardless of what rates do in the future you know that your new home Will continue to appreciate the longer you stay in it. I’d say you made the right choice to buy now and start building your personal wealth and net worth. And… if rates ever go down, you will have the option to refinance and having options is always a great position to be in. Instead of being worried, pat yourself on the back and enjoy your new home!
