Finally someone explains the problem at hand.... it's fairly obvious but even the media are wishing away the fact that the country is seeking a cultural change,, Kibaki did fail the country on that single front.

I thought I was the one seeing this when a mainstream kasamuel explains a simple demand in the constitution and the said journalist affiliated with Spice cannot get it. If you ask or allude Genziis don't vote and they're are the ones who voted hence the anger. Again they demand a working system which is accountability which means voting or not voting accountability furthermore have we not been voting.Spice has the trophy great job.

perpetuated the nyayo era ineptitude by surrounding himself with his mountain folks, who werent necessarily qualified to sustain the revolution that propelled him to power in 2002

Mark on point , we recircle these people again and again. E.g Orengo makes a lot of noise but when he makes to governor office , he starts looting. All these so leaders Rutos , Railas are all a like . Look for this book( animal farm) .

Mark is a very intelligent man, talking facts on facts! Kenyans shouldn’t trust the political classes, they should be hold accountable and called out whenever things aren’t going as they should go. The flame of mandamano should always be active thats when politicians will do things differently, knowing that they’re being observed by the bosses.

The point made on change to mwananchi to never loosen positive pressure is very insightful. This talk needs to be broken down to tiktok videos, shorts and facebook with clear graphics and all. When we entrust change to leaders they seize the moment and change matters to their benefit. 100% agreed.

  • @Ogole-oye

To the point of Ruto having the opportunity to rebuild without the burden of tribal politics and political debt, could there a case for having the presidential elections at a different term with the parliamentary elections and all? That way safe guard the governance agenda being lost in the politics of we voted you in?
That proverb could go two ways... The one, as mentioned by the guest, no matter what mother nature is unbeaten. The other could be the bats always dance to the dictates of the sun, which reference to beneficiaries and their benefactor who would be their sun.
I could be wrong on both 😅

The likes of Martin Shikoku and gitoba mantra Raila oding Ayoung young Paul Mwite Wangare mathay Farah Maalim’s and Orengo fought for malltiparty system in Kenya and they won and the GenZ are fighting for transparency and check and balance it’s there time to liberate the hole system in government it might be very hard but no pain no gain all the country in the world are facing this challenge some of developed country sort out this issue and that’s is why they are doing well economically for example if the government spends all the money that the president spends on international trips to put factories in all former 8 provinces how many young youth will get employment and the government get revenue for all production

While I have agreed with His observation and punditry, I was ambivalent with his comments when Ruto came back from US, and him asserting that Ruto had great achievements, and yet those accomplishments did NOT stop the GenZ uprising. Does he still believe in Rutos foreign kiss, and where is the space or place for those achievements in the midst of all the tensions in the country.

Mark can you rationalize your concept.
We have tried democracy as defined by western minds.
Now you are talking of citizens taking charge. You are not telling us how citizens composed of different tribes can take power and rule themselves directly. Are you suggesting that citizens should be disciplining the offenders directly?
Your solutions are too political to be practical.
Kenyans have developed the idea of hanging on to western values, institutions, etc. Anything different is condemned as undemocratic and followed by reaching out for the western helping hands.
My friends you then go to values and start getting it RIGHT.
But the elite will fly all over America and Europe looking for values.
What are our values and do we have requisite institutions.?
    Is our constitution helping?
Once uhuru lamented that the legal system was letting him down. Who listened? Did the press listen?? NO.
We can't have mob rule. We need ideology and the right constitution to implement the ideology or ideologies.
    Too much talk.
We love to talk and do nothing helpful.
When you say x should go are you suggesting violence or in accordance with the laws which we seem to invoke when it suits us?
I agree with all the demands. Sasa tutatumia njia gani? Will it be the traditional x must go cry. Then we get y. Then the cry resumes.
You can pressurize the government to initiate the necessary moves unless you want to try the army and may be regret when you are forced to talk less.
