Getting back into shape on the English horn in preparation for the 2021 📍Music in the Mountains. I’ve always felt very connected to this instrument and love playing vocal music. The Rachmaninoff Vocalise works particularly well as there is no text.

I found your video, because of Musical Sampling's, "Parker English Horn".
I played oboe and english horn, 10th grade (1975) - sophomore year of college. Your playing in this video is definitely professional!! So, even when start playing the VSTi bearing your name (using a wind controller), I will still learn from your dynamics and phrasing overall. I'll be looking for more videos where you are playing.
If I were just a bit younger and could afford a world class oboe and english horn ... I'd maybe play the real thing again. But truly, these VSTi's work better than I ever expected them to, 20+ years ago. 🙂
