The 10th Chinese Peacekeeping Guard Contingent to Mali received a batch of new Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) vehicles in their mission area on Wednesday.
The new type of MRAP vehicles, deployed to China's overseas peacekeeping forces for the first time, have been modified specifically to meet the demands of peacekeeping missions, with upgraded functions of protection, communication, electromagnetic interference, and observation.

When we on a mission to peace keep we literally keep the peace. We don't pick a fight or back a side in the conflict like some other countries do

The MRAP vehicles are able to protect Chinese Peacekeepers from mines and all kinds of ambush. Applying the same token, the us mine-laying Volcano system is useless to the Chinese 🇨🇳 PLA infantry during the unification of our Taiwan province.

A couple of things here ; the equipment can be tested and adjusted / the soldiers get valuable experience and the interests of china in africa are being guarded ...now if chine works together with the wagner group my gues will be that the militant terorist groups soon will be a small problem , cause with the drones and the unlimitede recourses they will have a hard time

If often the UN-peacekeeping mandate is not large enough, it has to be admitted that it does empeach that a country does feed the terrorism against it pretends to "help" its friends - that have to...evidence that "friendship"... Something what has been reproached, maybe excessively but not undeservedly to the networks of some "françafrican" intrests. We should allso consider that limitations concerning the mandate of UN-peacekeepers not only does reduce their efficiency , but allso does expose their lives...
Si souvent le mandat des Nations Unies n'est pas suffisant, d'autre part il évite qu'un pays nourrit l'insécurité "contre laquelle il aide ses amis", qui doivent, évidemment, prouver leur "amitié"... Un peu ce dont on accuse, peut-être excessivement mais pas à tort, des réseaux d'intérêts françafricains. Puis, dans le cadre de l'ONU, ces soldats, qui sont aussi fragilisés par des mandats parfois trop limités, risquent quand-même leur vie...
