Yes, I use a Flex 6500. I've been a Ham since 1981 so I've had the opportunity to used many different radios. The Flex Radio has been the most enjoyable of them all but at the same time it has been the most challenging to lean how to use.

That is just any USB battery pack crammed back there! That is awesome!

Yes I thought that was a great idea, along with the power-pole connections for power to the entire unit.

Hi Thanks for the info . I have a question ( sorry if its dumb ) My pal has a full flex setup
with a great antenna . he does operate remote from his home as the weekends but does not really use the station on weekdays . If he grants me permission to use his station on the weekdays will I be able to purchase my own Maestro and be in a position to log etc like my friend does ?
    cheers for now

Yes you can. You can also download the SmartSDR software for free and use it straight from your computer

Yeah it seems things are still backed up right now. Production is slow and shipping can also be slow. You will enjoy the radio once you get it, though.

Do they supply Flex Radios to others besides hams?

They have some government contracts, I believe. But mainly Hams.

A company in the building right behind them. In Parts 3&4 of this video, you get to see the facility
