I have maxed out on all my Talents, have all my characters at level 60 and all my equipment are at least level 50. All these have help to contribute to the damage numbers you see in the video.
Can someone please explain the purpose of Barracks in Conquest mode? Is this simply to make the game harder for OTHER players, or is there a tangible benefit to building up a strong mob?
The Barracks in Conquest Mode is ti make it harder for other players to destroy your base and steal your batteries, which will result your Resource Generator to stop its timer until you have 3 batteries again. Also, each time your base is being attacked, you can gain up to +30 Ratings, depending on the percentage of your base that was destroyed by each attack. So, the lesser the destruction of your base, the more Ratings you will gain. I personally feel that anyone with 5 Plasma Guns or 5 Miniguns will just level your entire base easily, so I don't put up much of a defense for my own base.
You only need to equip 4 out of the 5 pieces of any set equipment to enjoy it's set bonus. You can't have both Cowboy + Superman abilities. Superman Set gears mostly give +Movement Speed & +Attack Speed Cowboy Set gears mostly give +Range Damage. You can either use :- 1. Superman Set with Cowboy's Eyewear for the base attack and movement Speed without compromising too much damage from your SMG; - OR - 2. Cowboy Set with Superman Hat to have a little bit of attack and movement speed. NOTE: THIS IS ASSUMING IF YOUR SUPERMAN & COWBOY GEARS IN LEGENDARY TIER.

Carrot is more of character of healing. Pea-Man is more of character for farming. I use Pea-Man with Banker Set + Cowboy's Eyewear for almost all of my gameplay.

How are your weapons at this level, health and strength in Panama? I am at the same stage 23. Suburbs health 500 and strength 500

Because he is in hard mode. Once you beat all the stages you can beat them all again on hard..

For strong mob defence, I will suggest having all your Special Barracks to spawn Lizards.

If i use only cowboy it will be 30% faster + 30%faster...etc or will be only 30% faster even i get all cowboy's stuff

My personal preference is still Pea Man because there is no luxury to walk to the pickles to collect them.

Do remember to use Parasite as 1 of your mutations so that the enemies may drop MedKits for Pea Man to vacuum all the loot from the enemies. 🤩

Nvm just saw you a answered already. So beat all avail levels.
Complete all available levels in the Main Mode.
Current game version 2.9.0 has a total of 25 levels in the Main Mode.
I bought carrot is that a lot worse than pea man? Seems worse
