    I left my first company at 4Lpa due to anger and disrespect and with no job in hand, my manager was a jerk and used to tell me that i am slow and I am not for software industry.
    Well, After 9 yrs, Here I am at Microsoft.
    I still remember those days, and deep in my heart I can never forget that person.

      I had a similar experience where fresh out of college I had joined a recruitment agency as a technical recruiter in 2016. After a month and a half of tolerating toxic call center like culture, I gave my resignation over the phone call. He asked me what I'm going to do in future? I told him that I'm going to become a software engineer. He said, "I'm not sure you'll do well in software"
      In 2018, just before my interview in placements in masters, HOD told me,"You won't survive in corporate" just because he was angry knowing that his favorite student couldn't clear the written test while I did even though I was nowhere in the toppers list.
      8 years down the line, I'm a software engineer in a product.

    The main problem nowadays is the notice period; everyone asks for an immediate joiner or a 20-day joiner, and no one prefers a 2-month notice period. Even if their notice period is 2 or 3 months, employers often prefer an immediate start.

      @@questpondvideos Putting paper without offer is also risk if we have family. We can put paper without paper but need to think in all perspective like our preparation, current job market and also need to think other side like if do not get job within 3 months then have some bank balance so that family can survive and we can search patiently

Now, I have 10 years of experience and have been working with the same company for the past 7 years. Currently, I am not looking for a job change, but I feel the need to refresh my career. So, I am updating and preparing questions for myself as if I were a fresher. Your videos have shed light on my career journey and helped me identify areas for improvement. A slightly different opinion here, Cocktail Job description is not necessarily confused role description, In large MNC's couple of projects are grouped together based on their similarity with tech stack and you work as a pooled resources like SME contributing to multiples projects that employ these tech stacks. so that cloud be one the reasons why such a spectrum of Tec stacks are in the JD

      Very much agree it can be a position of a SME. JD should clarified it.

    Hi Sir, When the job requirement asks for "Azure", what are they (recruiters) expected from a developer ? Is it CI/CD DevOps things?

    • @questpondvideos
      @questpondvideos  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Atleast they expect these 6 :- Azure app services , function apps , logic apps , Storages , Azure SQL, Ad security. But they would be more than happy if you know CI CD devops , Docker and Kubernetes.
