If my mortgage company didn't care, I would drop the insurance. It's crazy. Insurance companies are ridiculous. they are greedy. I just got a policy in September, and just got that letter last week. I feel like my insurance agent knew this would happen and signed me up anyway to get the commission. If it goes up much more, I will have to get out of this somehow.

More insurance companies have been coming in to Florida and more are coming, which will bring prices down.
