Walt Disney World NovaBus LFS 4953

Walt Disney World Nova Bus Model TL-40102A "LFS" Low Floor # 4953 from The Magic Kingdom to The "Old Key West" Resort. Equipped with a Cummins ISC Engine and an Allison B-400R WTEC Transmission. Please pardon the darkness, if you guys have ever ridden a Disney Bus @ night before, they're drivers are like Greyhound drivers, NO lights at night! Hope you all enjoy! 4953 is the Only bus in the Disney fleet like it. The last nova in that body style is 4885 and they have Meritor axles, drum brakes, Allison transmissions, Series 40 Detroit engines and plastic seat covers. 4953 was added later and is the only Disney bus with ZF Axles, disk brakes, a ZF transmission, Cummins engine and cloth seats. The only other Nova's on property are 5000-5009 and they share the same features as 4953 except they are in a different body style and have an Allison trans. Ju

Yes, I drove for Disney. This IS 4953. Its the only Nova we have with padded seats, and the only Nova with a 49- number. All the others are 4815-4885 and 5000-10 thru 5009-10

I drove for Disney,as far as the comment about the lights being off,management made that a requirement for us to run without lights because they decided we can't see outside with lights on.They got real strict about it for no good reason even though the buses are equipped with a dimming feature when the doors close just like any city bus.I remember one driver being suspended for a week because he waited until the bus was moving before he turned them off.Personally I think its unfair to guests.

You kno wat fella, you might be right. I'd forgotten what the number was & my wife swore up & down that it was 4823. So that's what I went with!If it was, in fact, 4953, I'll change it.

Umm, why do I hear a Cummins ISL with ZF? I thought Disney only had buses with Allison! :O

Is this not 4953? I thought that was the only Disney Nova with those padded seats?
