They're very finicky when it comes to air/fuel ratio. If lucky you might get it going just by cleaning the carb and replacing the air filter + pre-filter. I'm also running with a 150 main jet, vast improvement vs the stock 140 jet 👍
Uni air filter is a game changer. Love mine plus a less restrictive exhaust. Running a 160 main jet. In the process of doing motor mounts. Had to pull the engine. Gonna try a 170 main and 45 pilot while it's apart. Also upgrading to the 400 scrambler white clutch spring. This 300 dollar wheeler has been quite a project . Not gonna list all I have done but yeah. I love the way these 90s wheelers look. Lighter, more simple, easy to work on. The engine is sitting on my work bench as I type this. 7600+ miles and she is still pretty strong
@Celternix I'm at sea-level. I had low end power issues when I first had this ATV and I found that restricting the air intake made a world of difference. Had too much air going in.
She's a tank! Such clear water. Cool footage
Dang this one seems to have more power than
mine. I couldn’t get mine to do wheelies. Guess it’s in better shape.

@@FredRobichwhat is your altitude. I moved 1,500ft above sea level and I feel that my don’t have enough low end power.

Im thinking about buying one of these once I get the money. Are they reliable? And what's the top speed?
It's very reliable and easy to work with, I've pounded the living crap out of it and it's still going lol
52 mph is the top speed I've managed to hit
@@FredRobich oh nice hahaha I'll have to upload a video on my channel whenever I get one, thank you for your input
@@motormouth2472 No problem bud! Be sure to get a 4x4 model, you'll thank yourself later when playing in mud 👍
@@FredRobich yeah hahaha, I will if I can! Have a great one
Mine whines like that too. Is that normal?
@user-xb5xc7dc3p Yup it's normal, all coming from the clutches. It sounds like a jet when you're in low gear lol
@@FredRobich thank you 👍👍
