In today's video, my brother and I tried our best to coop through Dying Light on PS4 to beat the game using only broken weapons. So naturally, Excalibur played a huge role for us. I haven't done a Dying Light gameplay video in a while so I thought it'd be fun to mix it up, change a few things here and there, and try this game with a brand new twist. If you guys haven't heard, Techland is actually coming out with a new DLC for this game called Hellraid July 23 and I'm excited to try it out! Dying Light 2 isn't here yet, but at least we're getting awesome DLC to fill in the wait.

I actually like this co op style vid. Kinda fun to watch dante and his brother just screwin around
When I first went through Dying light, I had a bug that did not show me that the weapon was broken. So I went through over 85% of the game with a broken weapon because I didn't know it was broken. I used normal (undamaged) weapons only at the beginning of the game and in the arena, the rest of the game I went through using a broken weapon, which was a korek machete. I've watched different episodes before, at different TH-cam channels, that's why I knew how to get the korek machete. So one of the first things I did was go for this weapon. I went through the game at normal difficulty, but that's because it was my first attempt at this game

Yeah, both korek machetes and the expcaliber (there might be more, but it looks like it is only for developer melee weapons) don't show their durability, and you have to go into the inventory or the swap panel (whatever it's called) to see where it is. Gladly, it doesn't look like that it is a problem for regular one use weapons (like rebar or anything that gives nails when scrapped.) Hopefully this can be of use for you or anyone else.

@@chrism1518 Not Dying Light, watch all of his videos. In all his videos he gives a comedic aspect to the story which still makes sense, while completely avioding spoilers. I watched all of his Resident evil challenges and then played the Resident Evil games and was like dang, this was the story, I didn't even get a glimpse of it.

Techland and Cd projekt red really are the gems of the gaming community, they don't mass produce low quality copy paste games, they make one game but pour their heart and skills into it and then they support the game with either free content or dlcs which are really good value. Really proud that Polish companies have such a good well deserved reputation among gamers.

@@zombee5505 Maybe to a certain extent but I still think they're a good developer and cyberpunk fundamentally was very good, just the management and the fans wanted to push the developer to release the game and the game was too big and too ambitious. If cyberpunk was released in april 2020 its development time would have been shorter than the one of witcher 3, idk why people are spreading misinfo about developing lasting since 2012 or so.

@@zombee5505 Yep, all game studios should learn from that but it seems like they didn't with unfinished games releasing like gta trilogy or the new battlefield. The saddest part is that cyberpunk at its core was a very good game with a lot of potential but the bugs and cut content left the sour taste in people's mouths. Some people couldn't enjoy the good things because the game would crash or work very bad on old gen consoles. Tbh it ran surprisingly well on my pc with bugs comparable to any ubisoft games and one crash during 90 hours of play but others had a very different experience. This game just needed a lot of time to be developed, more than the Witcher 3 and them thinking that releasing it after a shorter time than the Witcher 3 was a good idea was completely delusional. And the final release in December happened because they had to release it before the end of the financial year so their stock doesn't crash. It was a very bad decision and games like halo infinite show that delaying the game is a good decision if you have a good game that just needs more time. They should have delayed it at least a year on old gen consoles and at least a couple of months on pc. My brother played it on ps4 a couple of months ago and it worked allright and enjoyed it which proves that delaying it would change the reception. I hope they learn from it and keep all the good things about their studio and change their attitude with releasing games when it is financially optimal, not when they're actually finished.

Dante I started watching you 2 months ago and I have to say this
You are an amazing person and I really like your content
But I think for your next challenge RE3 any Difficulty you chose and take no damage
Quick tip: try to get good upgrades for your melees, like king's or other ones. And after that, you should use a weapon blueprint that will slice the zombies deeper. That will increase damage. I have done this on a dark sickle and it can decapitate and one-tap after being completely broken.
