The problem with the United States is that it truly lacks a hostel culture. And considering how sprawled out Los Angeles is, it does not surprise me one bit how difficult it must have been to meet people during your stay.
I was in Florida a few years ago and it was worse. Went to Panama city and it is like a ghost town originally made for rich pensioners and now devastated by a hurricane and left to die. Beach was public I think but needed to rent a condo on the beach to access it. If Bratislava was on the beach, it would be Panama city beach
Wow what a journey this has been - Totally agree Kev been really underwhelmed on my visits to LA. Think you will find Vegas will be more fun.
Thank you for following the journey... Really does mean a lot! And i know... I expected a lot more from LA 🤣
Mini-tennis = pickleball haha. You missed a few fun things in Venice and Santa Monica but glad you enjoyed the walk along the beach at least!
haha "mini tennis" 🤣
Yeah, that part of LA was my favourite for sure... Although i do think i need to go back at some point and do it properly!
Yay you're back! 🎉 Looking forward to Vegas installment, hope it was more social for you!
Yeah! Few more videos of this journey to go 🙌
Can't wait! 😊❤
Love watching these vlogs Kev!
Thank you! Really do appreciate the support :)
You could pass off for Ken from the Barbie movie ❤
Haha... i've still not seen that film yet!

Yeah... Totally agree, it's a completely different hostel set up to that of Europe and Asia that's for sure!
US is not for budget travelers it seems
Nope! it was a lot tougher there than most places 🤣

So much of it is marketing. So many video games and movies are made with inspiration from being in California but its just so overrated.
Couldn't agree more... I recognised most from GTA 🤣
