I fell in love with the style of this car when it came out and I still do and drive one (2014)
Man, such an old video haha. Time flies man...
It’s 2023 Im 18 and this my first car what ya think ? I haven’t drove it yet , it was passed on to me
@@kingyoung5228hey man did u ever get one I’m looking at this one tomorrow and wanna know if I should be worried about anything
mercedes are actually very easy to live with if you do most the maintenance yourself, it ends up being cheaper than being dealer-dependent for simpler cars like toyotas. just make sure you always go to an indie MB shop if you cant do something diy, and always shop around for parts or check out junkyards, there's millions of these mercedes in there
Rubbish, even if you maintain it all by yourself, a Benz will still cost more than your average Toyota.
And good luck doing DIY maintenance on the most recent Benzes. You'll be spending thousands on computer diagnostics and special tools alone to begin with. And when the 7G-TRONIC packs up, that'll be a new transmission for you - the electronics pack aren't serviceable the way the previous 5G-TRONIC is.
+donkgated totally agree with you....had a c220 cdi for a couple of years....
I must agree 100% I buy most of my parts at fcp euro and once you buy a part its lifetime warranty. No more. Buying that part. I watched their DIY videos on TH-cam and did my thermostat, belt, front and rear brakes and rotors in 2 days. I did my tune up with a DIY video. Yes it ends up being less costly than a dealers by 1000's of $$
Thanks for the tips guys....I just hot my c300 2 weeks ago...she runs amazing at 80000 miles...do u know wat it would cost to change the steering wheel...do I need to out it in a computer or something? Its ugly and I want mine replaced
Generally German-made cars tend to be:
1. Built carefully. Mercedes particularly, seems to pay great attention to detail and they make sure everything works well and properly
2. Reliable. For the most part, German cars are very reliable.
3. Comfortable and Classy. Mercedes cars are extremely nice to drive, and comfortable to use. It is a much more comfortable experience than driving American or Asian cars
Mercedes, Audi, BMW, (even Porsche) are all excellent cars.
Cheers
Your reviews are hilarious! Keep up the funny vids man
I'll love to buy this before the end of d year
I just got one....omg this car is sooooo smooth...80000 miles....needs a little minor work on doors and steering wheel...but she is cherry....Im fixing her up as we speak
@@pilotkush80do you still have it? Im thinking about getting one would like to know how its been holding up
that is one awesome lexus dude!! keep these awesome videos comin!
Well done! I like the exterior as well as its interior. The non-navi model seems like a great choice.
Very nice, comprehensive tour of this Mercedes. He did a fine job of detailing the vehicle, as well. Great car.
Great video as always Kyle!
does the sliding thing that reveals the multimedia display on the dash open and close automatically when the car shuts and starts up?
how about inside? i mean i am tall guy 193cm. is it enough place? is it comfartable? im thinking about getting this one
Zrage C I recommend you getting the c class models 2015 and above. you can probably get a good used 2015 c class for around 28k ish
@@gavcom4060 NOOO c class 2015 is too much cramped I am just 6 feet and I too feel cramped in it c class 2012 would be best
when turning on the engine, is there a start/stop button? Also, do u prefer this or the BMW 3 series?
love it. Mercedes is the best. getting a C-350 later this year.
It was basically a new Merc and it appears the brake service light was on towards the end when he was driving it?
wow. these new c-classes look beast. i wish it were twenty years from now when i will have enough money saved to buy one.
I have a C350 and $300 bucks for an oil change is a little far fetched. I was quoted at $110 using full synthetic oil. It's the insurance and replacement parts such as a/c, transmission, etc. that costs a lot more than the norm Camry.
my dad has the C200 2009 model and he tells me it is a much better feeling driving the Mercedes than the bmw 3 series, lexus, Audi a4. ill be driving it soon cant wait
Very nice color! What's the paint code number?
love your videos
Nice! I ALMOST got an '08 C300 Sport 4Matic, but we got the 5 Series instead. The 5S is a better buy, though, for us anyways.
I see one of these on campus every day. Want one. I stay in Alabama Roll Tide!
The most exciting thing about this video was the train going by.
is there an option t buy this car with a manual transmission?
Classic model of the C-class.
Why doesn´t the grill go up as you open the bonnet, like old models? it was such a nice touch.
finally the c300 luxury version
Does this car have keyless go? I think it does because of the lined grill instead of that big Mercedes sign on the other ones.
This grille is the luxury version, the grill with the big star in the middle is the sport version.
what's the occasion for this video? this one wasn't on the lot right?
The C class is the only entry level luxury sedan that I like
I wish you test drove the cars as well
is this the c300 sport or the c300 luxury sedan?
I love your videos their really informative! But I can't help but laugh wondering what is in a bystander's head when he walks by you creeping on that benz! LOL
I still like the C-class more than any car in its segment.
whoa!! the hood opens way up
I might be 10 years late.....
But that's for mechanics, if you want you can make it to not go as much open
Yeah the fact that you see Mercedes and BMW at every corners means that these are better cars than the ones you don't see at every corner.
German cars (Mercedes, BMW, Audi) are #1 in the world, they set the scale.
Bentley is owned by VW (German).
the c300 sport looks better to me. but thier both great cars and also; are SURE that this is 2009 and not a 2008 that made made to be sold in 2009? I remember that in 2008 c class' mirrors would fold in automatically. This feature was discontinued in 2009 due to the many technical failures it suffered. But my 08 c300 sport is still kickin at 100,606 miles!
excelent video!!!!
what a nice car! cost alot?
you should find a 03, or 04 mustang cobra, my dad had a black 03 with a twin turbo kit that made over 650 rwhp! loved the car, miss it now thought. So if you could find one like that it would be awesome! thanks!
When are you going to do the new one?
Can anyone tell me if the top half of the headlight assembly has a led strip? I had a 09 c300 luxury and it did but does the sport version also have the led strip for 2009 model?
I love this car
This is a 2008 not a 2009 XP because the only model year to ever have power folding mirrors for the c300 was in 2008 and they stopped doing it after that
Everett Kim plus the 2009 has the screen that comes out instead of just the built in screen
your new hot rod??
looks remarkably similar to my BMW. Gotta admit, I'm an avid bimmer fan but this car is sexy.
I love the sound of a v6
can you show a 2008 Mercedes E class?
Is this 4matic?
Kyle please can you make a video for the C300 2012 ??
you should try to find a 03, 04 mustang cobra. that would be awesome.
wait do you have the 17" wheels of 18"
This is the ONLY mercedes I like
No trunk? I wanted to see the trunk
To make it easier for the mechanic when it comes in for service.
the engine on the 2007-present Mercedes Benz C-Class
Engine
1.6 L-1.8 L M271 I4 Kompressor
2.5-3.5 L M272 V6
6.2 L M156 V8 AMG
2.1 L OM611 Diesel I4
2.1 L OM651 Diesel I4
3.0 L OM642 Diesel V6
Great video but you shold never ever drive a customers car without their permission.
2021
i bet this car was prob some what clean in side since usually people with benz and such take good care of them, how does its a detailng cost at your place?
Cool car, maybe a little bit boring but I like it ;)
Yeh i agree with:
thecarexpert18
Your videos are excellent i watch everyone of them. Such a good source of information :)
C300? In sweden, and I think the rest of europe as well, we have C320s and C350s :P
not necessarily... benz asks for premium...oil changes are like 300 bucks...less reliable and will depreciate alot more than the camry..it depends what you prefer...humble/modest and reliable. or a little more flashy and less reliable
A new car ita a new car. A new Mercedes its a new Mercedes !!!
you could have cauht that freight train and that crossing bell
wot color is that?
The change in the ash-tray was all of the money the owner had left after buying a Benz!
i dont like how those projector beam bixenons are on all the time, even during sunny days! theres no way to differentiate night lamps to day time running lamps
The C class is the only entry level luxury sea
Really a damn shame MB screwed up with the interior so much. I mean, it's built really well and everything feels extremely solid, but plastics is just not as soft and nice to touch like in 3 series, or even better, audi a4. And the whole interior doesnt feel expensive. Now, considering this car is muc more expensive than 3 series and a4 (in my country at least), its a really bad move by MB.
what happn to your traditional review >?>?
why r u so quiet? :) the benz is great.
Nice
luxury
now i want benz :)
@KatiushaVN4 I think a 2010 Genesis.. that's how I found his videos, and it was a video of his own.
We had one of those while my grammas car was getting fixed.
I love the exterior but I strongly dislike the interior design, MB may have the exterior but BMW takes the interior and road feel.
Nice car
Aside from the big mercedes grill it could be a corolla, or some dodge compact.
@jimbolightningy
You forgot to mention : and the price of a Yugo
@scoutdogg They still have it in the grill but it depends which trim you buy. I have the sport model which is the more expensive one here in the japan, and its in the grill.
Seems like this video was done without proper research. Fumbling all over the place, not knowing the horn won't work if the key fob is not in.
That’s a 2008 btw
@Goldenrod636 Acually the C class is quite cheap compared to other Mercedes.
where I live, people would still choose the camry..
why?? tax & parts prices.. especially tax..
but personally I would still choose the merc..
2013 C300 now has the same 3.5L but 250hp
and only 0.1sec slower than C350 300hp
can anyone agree with me that a 2011 mercedes c300 is a better choice than a 2012 toyota camry se v6? for the same price (toyota new and mercedes one year old) i think the mercedes is a wayyy better value
I don't know much about cars, but speaking of HEART, I think it would be much appreciable to drive a Mercedes-Benz than a Toyota (which is lower cost maintenance and way more reliable than German cars). But if I had this kind of money to put in a car, I would take the Mercedes-Benz, in the point of view of pleasure.... Sorry for my English, sir.
mercedes the best for cars, toyota the best for suvs
This is a very classy, very solidly built, nice looking car. The exterior color of the car is a good choice for a Mercedes, black being the other choice. And the interior color, also black, is perfect to add to its classiness. With all the luxury features incorporated into this Mercedes who could ask for anything more? The gentleman doing the tour does an excellent job.
