  • This is an initial review of the two person quilt from Enlightened Equipment: The Accomplice. This is a stock 10 degree version. Anna and I take it to the high elevations of Arizona, and camp at over 9,000 feet below Mt. Baldy. The temperature drops to below 40 degrees. She is a very cold sleeper. I am an average sleeper. So how does it hold up? Watch to find out.

does that center flap that's for reducing drafts get in the way? I was thinking of one of the EE quilts for myself plus my wife and our special needs 6 year old. The thing is someone most likely the 6 yr old would be in the middle. We have a zenbivy sheet with an insulated hood so we have a way to stay warm without needing the quilt to wrap around us. The EE saves a decent amount of weight for us.

The center flap would probably get in the way with someone in the middle. It’s great for two people when you cinch the collars, but it might be problematic with a third.

thanks for the review, I’m thinking of getting this, hows it holding up? Any cons? Have you tried testing quilt at the temperature rating of the quilt?

Haven’t taken it to the limit yet. I’ve taken it down to freezing a couple times and it’s been plenty warm. I even had to shed my jacket and just sleep in baselayers or I was too warm! But I can’t speak for how it’ll do at 10 degrees. I’m guessing it’ll be comfortable in the 20s but below that would be pushing it.
