Lan Sizhui | The Best Day- Taylor Swift | The Untamed

( I know that Sizhui isn’t 13, and that one clip is from the Ramen ad in the TH-cam episodes but it’s the only scene I could find of lan zhan and Sizhui alone together so I kept it in 😂 sorry if it ruins it, I just thought it was cute. Also the lyrics imply lan Zhan is Snow White but I mean, he clearly is. )

Lan Sizhui/ A Yuan is just one of the sweetest characters with the most beautiful and tragic character arcs ever. The way his story ties to Wei Wuxian’s and Lan Wangji’s is maybe one of the most lovely found family stories I’ve ever seen.
As tragic as his childhood was, I love to think that Lan Sizhui has a lot of happy memories growing up at Cloud Recesses with his adopted family, and as his memories come back he remembers what his life was like with the Wens, as well as Wei Ying.
I interpret this song as Sizhui post canon, thanking Wei Ying for all that he did for him, giving him a second chance at life when he was little, and loving him as if he was his own. And of course since later on Lan Zhan did the same thing for A yuan after Wei ying died, it is also Sizhui telling Wei Ying and Wen Ning that he had a happy childhood, after all, since he was protected his entire life even after they could no longer protect him.
