I really like how Škoda is basically a Volkswagen with a couple of cut corners. Instead of designing an entirely new center console to fit a start button, they just place it in an existing spot where the keyhole would be on a Golf for example. Small stuff like that keep the prices down and makes these cars available for more people. Brilliant.

well duh. Obviously. But people love skoda because it's functional . It works (for a long time) and you dont get to give a kidney every time something breaks . And I hope it stays that way till i get mine in couple of years. For now I don't need a sedan yet.
I’ve worked on it’s brother, the Octavia before. These cars are brutally simple for annual maintenance ie oil change, engine and air intake filters as well as the diesel filter. Would definitely buy one myself!
It's not really a misplaced start button, you just have the steering wheel on the wrong side. 😂 In Europe the button is on the same side of the steering wheel, but towards the center console because the steering wheel is on the left side. And thank god Škoda stopped using that stupid split headlight design on the 3.5 when the 4 came out.
I'd definitely get a TDI wagon myself though, preferably manual or at least not DGS for towing and as a Scout
Please highlight Paddle shifters as well..its a beast when it comes to manual🎉
Such a handsome looking car, with the EA888 engine also a sleeper aswell. i own the little brother Octavia vRS in the UK
I own one of these and it's awesome. Only 30L less storage than the shooting break/wagon and looks so good.
I've had two mountain bikes, two surfboards, plus bags in it.
And it's not 6sec it's 5seconds
Which model and year is this car my fellow?
In my opinion that is the perfect place for a start button. Hate when they're in the middle personally.
I really like how Škoda is basically a Volkswagen with a couple of cut corners. Instead of designing an entirely new center console to fit a start button, they just place it in an existing spot where the keyhole would be on a Golf for example. Small stuff like that keep the prices down and makes these cars available for more people. Brilliant.
Im proudly Slovak this Brand ist cool.😎
Damn, probably one of the best budget quality cars ever.
It looks sick. I would rather have an inline 5 in it though, for the sound 😁. It's nice to know that our Southern neighbors export their cars to the other side of the globe.
Love the hatchback boot opening.
Every sedan should have this.
I always find it fascinating how foreigners love Škodas. Here in Czechia it's so commonly seen in the streets i don't even spot it when it drives by.
well duh. Obviously. But people love skoda because it's functional . It works (for a long time) and you dont get to give a kidney every time something breaks . And I hope it stays that way till i get mine in couple of years. For now I don't need a sedan yet.
Awesome hand work :)
Love it Skoda Superb
I’ve worked on it’s brother, the Octavia before. These cars are brutally simple for annual maintenance ie oil change, engine and air intake filters as well as the diesel filter. Would definitely buy one myself!
interesting
Skodas are a good value for money, but often have persistant issues with the cooling / heating system after first 80k.
A misplaced start button and cup holder size is something I can deal with! Basically a great car
It's not really a misplaced start button, you just have the steering wheel on the wrong side. 😂 In Europe the button is on the same side of the steering wheel, but towards the center console because the steering wheel is on the left side. Škoda is a great company, the best value for money hands down.
Mindblowing to hear you say its "not a sedan". In poorer countries the Superb is considered a premium luxury sedan
A liftback in the outback!
with the push start being there it simulates the good old fashioned ignition where you have to put the key in. Older folks are more familiar with it that way.
4 years since we have our 2014 superb outdoor. Really can't say anything wrong about the car. MASSIVE cabin and cargo space. Everything in place. Decent awd, audio, sat nav, seats. Probably there is no other car in this price, which offers the same.
That's a Superb Batmobile
It's a perfect vehicle. I have Octavia 2024 and I'm enjoying every minute
I drive Fabia and I'm happy to see they paid attention for sits of back passengers
I love how you called a Foglights lower lights while being fogged up.
Basically, if you see Laurin and Klement displayed on the fender of a Scoda, that means that people of Scoda put everything into that car. It's nice and luxurious with all extras.
I had the 2015 model, the boot space is absolutely incredible in that car...
It's a really comfortable car to drive. I took it for a long week drive and I loved it.
Agreed
