Something I feel would be useful in these types of vids is to go past the first chorus. Ideas on changing up the 2nd verse, building a bridge or breakdown and making a bigger final chorus would be really helpful. Great work though Austin

Very, very sick brother. You are extremely fast at production. The song you threw together has hit potential...the chorus is all the way there and forgive for saying this, but it has more of a consolidated hook than anything I've heard you work on, and the work I've heard you do on YT is good. Modern electronic EDM and pop/r&b production are relative descendants of 80's synth pop/new wave which ranks IMO as one of the catchiest genres in music history. I believe after the waves "Blinding Lights" has made we are going to see a resurgence in the influence of this style, as it lends itself incredibly to melody and hooks and the ability to put all kinds of different vocals in personality and delivery on it. Your sense of melody, counter-melody, structure, and production experience lends itself well to producing these kinds of tracks. Honestly a lot of what I hear on Spotify top 50 lists currently has weak to no hooks, barely any discernable builds or tension and release, and vocals that are so over edited at times they stop being catchy and fail to tell any kind of story in the interest of sounding like an instrument...anyway I'm sure this track seemed easy for you to put together, but that's the point...if you have the musical skills to make it seem easy and it just flows like this you are onto something. I grew up in the 80's with this, and even though I was a rock guy I wrote my solo projects heavily influenced by this style, and I love it as the possibilities are endless when combined with modern styles and production techniques.

@@regorajczi AU and VST is sort of the same thing. However, AU is specifically for the Mac OS platform. So Logic can use both vst and AU, while cubase can only use vst if you have a Mac.
