Combat Rifle is unironically meta now. Remember that this is at RARE with no modules, at mythical it's one of the best primaries now.

At rare it does like 120 to 130 DPS. At mythical it does 194 DPS

As someone who’s been a casual player for many years and someone who just enjoys running around with automatics, this makes me happy. Granted some of the balances from the hotfix I don’t agree with, but all around I’m glad automatics got the love they needed.
Now if only they’d actually give some love to my Mythical Social Uzi I’d be more happy.

I feel like after a while with people learning tracking aim, automatics will dominate a part of the game, especially early-mid game. The op snipers and heavys will still be around but can be lasered by the automatics compared to before where they just didn't do enough damage without headshot.

I haven't been waiting for it. Automatic primaries are extremely hard to use especially because 3d touch isn't an option on android (allows you to jump while charging/holding down the fire button) and i've been getting killed by bots a lot more frequently because they basically have auto aim with these primaries. Many bad shotguns were nerfed for no reason too

some weapons were weakened for some reason. For example ak 48 it is not clear why

@@Mehdy97 it's not that op tbh, most people that used it had high lvl mods. It most likely did 150+ dps in mythical ore nerf
I used to strictly only play with automatics for my primary. But recently I've switched to playing with shotguns. Maybe this'll make me return to autos.
Combat rifle is an absolute beast now. I really love this update 😃

@@darthbane5357 the main reason they were used is because they're above automatics, but now that they're weaker than automatics. There's barely any point in using them. Most of them shotgun nerfs should be reverted and buffed afterwards. Shotguns and autos should be equals not weaker than the other

These changes are pointless. Here is why. Ultimatum, sakura and deadly beats are still unnerfed. I played 4 games and 70% of the people there were sakura/ulti/deadly beats users. These changes didn’t encourage people to use automatics and flamethrowers, it encouraged them to spam the toxic no skill weapons that haven’t been nerfed yet
Leave Sakura alone bro, It isnt a shotgun and doesnt have area DMG which Is the most broken thing about beats
That's 70% true, i played like 30 games last night, and there were still sakura/deadly beats/ulti spammers, but atleast there were automatics users that went pretty good against them. I think now they should nerf some weapons and the meta will be changed, like nerfing the most used OP weapons, like honestly it feels like the meta needs something, i think auto buffs are not enought.

Now theres no reason to use shotgun anymore, even at point blank range. Ngl, the devs just fixed an issue by creating a much bigger issue... Shotgun useless, assault rifle shredding people in a second, well...

I wanna know how you calculate dps of weapons, is it like current dps divided by 100 and then the answer times 100 + X (the buff) or body damage divided by 100 and the answer times 100 + X (the buff) and that times shots per second?

I dont remember the ak.558 or the black mamba or the veteran primary being being buffed. Did every gun youre showing here get buffed then? Also can you please tell the devs to revert the nerf on treasurer and then have them buff it. That thing was not op at all and now its horrible. It was uncalled for.

I don’t think they should’ve buffed these automatic weapons. They could’ve just nerfed 1 shot weapons like Sakura, ultimatum, dislike, or anti champ

Bro nerfs ain't gonna do sh_t, ur idea is literally so stupid. If nerfing was the solution then the cycle wouldn't have repeated itself over and over. My main example is: Nerfing op guns and then the new op gun is added and replaces the old one and then the cycle repeats.

But this still won't be enough to counter the 3catspam meta, Dev's might as well nerf some 3cat weapons and add fixed delay. They also need to remove vgd from duels and add fixed delay to vgd.
VGD already HAS a notable fixed delay.
Lmao why would they remove vgd from duels? There are like 1 million other pulling sucker wepns too, if they remove vgd they will have to remove the other pulling wepns too which would make the players angry
@@TheHopelessThrumbo But it doesnt give input and output delay to sniper and heavy weapons. Its the 3catspam which makes vgd op. Being able to switch weapons while in air is similar to rocket jumping. When rocket jumping died, ppl switched to vgd now.

@@aaronbamidele8073 3catspam is quick switch the why isn't there an in put and output delay for vgd. All the 3cat spammers use vertical grip devices along with deadly beats and Sakura and ultimatum. Any player doesn't even stand a chance to this.

Players are still not gonna use these weapons with these changes bc of 3catspam, Weapons that one shots, and some weapons with broken attributes and modules (the worst one yet). Even Weapons with weakening is not competitive against the current meta. For me this balance change is pointless bc of the meta.

The meta has been altered with this, now more people will use primaries. Yeah, some will still favor shotguns, but if you think about it, some primaries are now devastatingly stronger than before.
