2021 Aprilia RSV4 and TuonoV4 ECU reflash solution is here, give us just some more days to complete the tune-up of the UpMap system and to build custom maps 😛
RSV4 first, TuonoV4 will come just after! #gabroracing at your service!
In the video below i'm a part of the test we did modding the exhaust valve logic. It's done in stock EU or US non-race maps, so it can be used on stock or any katted/homologated exhaust fitted with noise reduction exhaust valve.
In test #1 you can see the ex valve closed in neutral and fully open when in gear. It allow a quiet warmup of the bike!
In test #2 the ex valve is always open while motor and cables are still installed, so you can come back to stock anytime without reassemble anything and set cables slack.
Test #3 is hardcore: disconnected flapper motor, no alarm at all. It allow complete removal of the system.
This mod is completely reversible, using the UpMap you can flash back anytime the stock map, just flip out your phone from the pocket.

I'm very interested in this. When I buy the T800+ for my Aprilia Tuono V4 2021 can I actually remap my standard ECU as shown in test #1? Is this part of the race map which I have to upload first?
Ciao Mark, #1 option is what I finally chose for map relase. The map that use it is the one for stock exhaust. It does not need to be race-based becouse the exhaust keep the Kat in. The tool is sold including one custom map of mine, plus you have the possibility to use the std race map, also included with the tool purchase. Where are you from? We have different distributors around the world

Hello, can i switch between stock and gabro map anytime i want. Once downloaded gabro map it stays on my phone and i dont have to buy it again?

thanks for this! I just ordered my t800+ to the US for my 2021 tuono V4 RR. 2 questions: if i do the european version of this map with the headlight turn signals, will it disable the external turn signals, or with both be blinking together? 2. does your standard exhaust map (shown in this video) also smooth out the throttle response as well? Finding this bike very jerky on-off, especially when im just riding slowly around town (compared to my bmw s1000xr). thanks!
1) the EU map will deactivate the external indicator. only the headlight integrated ones will work.
2) the exhaust valve mod is paired to fuel/ignition timing tune as well, throttle response and rideability will be improved. It will not be like an inline 4 engine, but much more smooth.
Last: flashing the EU map you may have CEL light on: that's due to a strict emission control embodied in it compared to the US tune. It can be solved by a dealer visit to perform the engine tone wheel learning.

I recently bought a 2018 rsv4 rf and just received my sc project slip-on.. now I am tempted to purchase your t-800 upmap stuff to flash my bike correctly however I also saw on your facebook that you have an airbox mod for the rsv4 as well but whenever I check the shop.. there's no option to buy this mod.. only for the tuono's? Another thing that caught my eye is that you have 2 maps for a decat exhaust.. one for €119 and one which cost €199.. I don't understand where the difference is in those 2 maps? Is it also recommended incase I don't do the airbox mod that I purchase a sprint filter p08 to increase air flow? And last but not least.. I'm a street rider so does this help in low rpms too? Sorry for all the questions but I'm new to the aprilia scene and I did a lot of research finding you are the GOAT for ecu flashing these bikes. P.S.: I'm from Belgium so where's the best place to order from?

ciao! the 199 maps are the "ST" versions: with tuned TC/AW for track use with grippy tyres and experienced riders :)

Stock RSV4 airfilter is already cotton made, washable unit.

And since I am a street rider, do I benefit from those intake stacks or is that really something you'd suggest for track riders? Does your flash also turn on the fans earlier? And last question I will then use the €119 map for decat slip-on since I am getting the sc project so does your flash adjust all 3 riding modes or only one? Thank you. P.S. I won't buy the sprint filter then
Hi Gabro, have now installed an arrow/ no kat on my E5 RSV4. Soon i will do your slip on / no kat map. For a fast return to stock configuration, i want to keep the servo connected and leave the cables in place (just tie them down to the swingarm) As so, this will not cause any issues with your map ? Thank you.
Wise idea, is what I usually do in street bikes. I do hide the cables under the seat right panel. Once flashed my "DEKAT" map you can then disconnect the servo at connector, and leave it alone. Disconnecting it will avoid any accidental cables operation. My map deactivate the dash error
Hi Gabro I have a 2022 RSV4. Im running a stock can but removed the servo motor (and cables).
What Gabro Map should I be using? I also have rizoma stealth mirrors so I also need the turn signals to be integrated in my front lights.
Will it be safe for me to just use the "RSV4 21 RACE SR" Map?
No the SR map is for dekat Ted slipons only

Actually I've chose #1 for normal production maps, but probably I'll publish the #3 solution in UpMap shortly due to request of many user that want get rid completely of the ex valve system while still running stock exhaust.

Hi Gabro, I’ve just bought a 21+ tuono v4 factory, I’m looking to get a race map put on and sometime in the future a slip on maybe Austin racing or sc project, when I buy the t800 do I have to pick a map based on my future exhaust upgrade or does it work with the stock exhaust as well?
with the t800 you get 2 promo codes to use: FREERACE to free download the std race map, and GRTMAP to download one of my tuned map. I did a tuned map for stock exhaust too, you can use the free coupon to download it, but you'll have to buy a different map (or use the supplied free std race map) when you will upgrade to a free-flowing slipon.
An other way to get a free map for the Tuono is buying my Airbox kit, the one with blue lid (it's the Smurf-box!) it comes with a card allowing the free download of a matched map.

Domanda: installato upmap e una delle mappe dell'archivio che si avrà nella relativa app sul cellulare (quelle in offerta col primo acquisto o altre in seguito) cosa accade materialmente alla gestione sul display (vedrò gli stessi parametri che in versione stock)? Il pulsante cambio mappa non cambierà più mappe perché lo si farà solo con upmap (originariamente serve a passare da user a sport a tour)? E dopo aver caricato la mappa nuova, quali parametri si possono regolare (originariamente sono atc, awc, aeb, ecc. Ecc.)? Grazie
PS. Prima di acquistare vorrei aver il quadro più chiaro possibile
la gestione del display rimane uguale, con le stesse mappe e modalità. Se con upmap però metti una mappa su base Race (scarico dekat) a display apparirà la scritta "race" e si abilita la funzione Pit Limiter.

Ciao Gabriele , ma è vero che l'upmap funziona solo con la prima centralina che programma e non è poi utilizzabile con altre centraline anche comprando nuove licenze ?
Non ci sono licenze aggiuntive. Ogni T800 si lega ad una e una sola centralina. Con licenze e multi-moto sarebbe un prodotto molto diverso, e non permetterebbe all'utente di cambiarsi mappa quando gli pare, no?

Hello Gabro. You have good videos. I put on my tuono v4 factory 2021, AustinRacing GP1R exhaust. It says on their website that remap is not required. What do you think, if i put a upmap, which map is best suited? ☺
Better you remap the bike, rideability will improve dramatically. This is the right map to be used with a race slipon kit:
