Bem-vindo. Welcome back to the Foxhole🦊🤘🌅 Always nice to see more BM fans coming back to listen more of this amazing group. Metal Galaxy is a wonderful album and full of surprises, you're gonna find more songs like this with more mature sound, it came out in 2019 so isn't so new. The album version got the collaboration of Polyphia guitarists, Tim Henson (short hair on the right) and Scott LePage (long hair on the left), and it's quite clear in the solo section. Polyphia got a viral clip when they were performing live and having an issue with the drummer IEM not working and a roadie helped him out in an unorthodox way to save the show, very funny clip. Their songs are mainly instrumental but i think they got some collabs with famous singers but don't quote that on me, what is for sure they got mad skills playing instruments. Tim Henson said when listening to this song that he would love to play this along with BabyMetal on the stage, he didn't know the final cut when he was doing the riffs on this song. The dance on this song is beautiful and graceful, they're showing another mature side and more complicated choreography. According to MoaMetal is the hardest song to dance along with BxMxC and Night Night Burn iirc. Song is inspired by certain "city pop" band (city pop is a subgenre widely known in Japan) and Utada Hikaru songs, when SuMetal heard this she doubt about it being a metal song but then the guitars solo were added and all make senses suddenly. Finally we got them together on stage and with this awesome live performance, it is their first time performing together. They did it again at Graspop Festival in Belgium and they hug each other at the end just like in this version only thing it was cut out, there's also a proshot clip but I'm not so sure about the sound mix. They already finished the Europe Tour and they did it along with EC playing their collab song twice at Resurrection Fest in Spain. Along with RATATATA this was definitely one of the highlights at FOX_FEST and a lot of Japanese fans were looking for, I guess that cool slow pace city pop element gives some nostalgia and that's why many fans love it. In a recent interview, Tim and Scott talked about a new song in their upcoming album along with BM, let's see what they got but I'm pretty sure it's gonna be something real good like this one. In a more recent interview BM said that they would love to collab along with Fall Out Boy, can you imagine?👀 So cool you will go to see them at Knotfest Brazil, i got my tickets and i can't wait for it. Keep enjoying BM songs and see you next time 🦊🤘🔥
Wooooow so much information Thank you for all this background about the song, the bands, the festivals I really appreciate that these girls can collab with anyone. I love how everytime I open Instagram I see them alongside with some random rock band and always seem so happy to meet new bands. I think they are so unique with their style and dances that it will be unforgettable what they will do at knotfest Brazil Very excited for this!
Great reaction. As you already know, this song is almost 5 years old. It was on BABYMETAL's Metal Galaxy album released in 2019 - and it is definitely one of their more mellow songs, but they can do everything which is why they can collaborate with so many different artists and fit right in with whatever style those other artists might do. When Polyphia (a mainly instrumental Prog Rock band from Texas) was confirmed on the bill for Fox_Fest (arranged, hosted and headlined by BABYMETAL in Tokyo at Saitaima Super Arena) we all had a good idea of what would happen. Polyphia guitarists Tim Henson and Scott Le Page provided the guitar tracks for the original recording of the song and Fox_Fest was the first chance they all had to meet up and to finally do this very first live performance with them all together.🎸🦊🎸
Subscribed. Awesome performance. 🦊 🖖❤
