Day 4- Oslo- The Fram Museum

With large screens that cover the entire ceiling and some of the walls, along with some great sound effect makes you feel like you are there in the artic. The Fram was a ship built to be sailed toward the North Pole in the late 1800's. After several explorations into the north including Northern Canada and Greenland, this ship was then used in a race to the South Pole in the years of 1910-1912.
Several floors along the outside tell of the stories from each trip. Once you reach the third floor, you can then board the ship and explore throughout its compartments. Great for families and history buffs, it is a great example of the explorations conducted by Norwegian people.
